  1. Great pictures! I have been using Flickr to post some pics on the web from "over here". Looks like the vacation was a blast, would love to see that part of the world. That Boeing museum could make a vacation for me in itself! Coincidentally, on the IFF program - I had recently found info on the original program at Holloman in the early 70s. My dad was like the fourth IP to check in 1973, (465th TFTS back then). They flew three times a day, six days a week....sometimes hungover! Originally designed to be 8 weeks, they pumped out a class at one point every three weeks. Lots of class graduation parties, resulting in the 465th from being banned from the O'club for foodfights and the like! I found this big write up on an Air Force history site, and forwarded it to him, gave him some memories of the glory days!
  2. Cool idea, hope you can make this happen!
  3. sswwwweeeeeet! By far the coolest F-16 ever, can't wait......
  4. Awesome work there, can't wait. So this like many other Swedish designs is seeing some export success!
  5. WOOT

Surfing this site is my only oasis here in the desert, glad it is back...........
  6. Sweet looking jet, can't wait to fly it.......... makes me want to try sushi, or whatever her name is
  7. You have to see this!

many dogs will be hurt trying to jump and catch this thing.......
  8. Wow, you are fast...... ADC skins always had a little more flavor to them, especially on the F-4. Those always reminded me of the colorful Marine and Navy F-4s.
  9. You gotta see this.......

One of the guys here at Cedar stumbled across that last week, funny and strange at the same time. If they would get them out picking up trash, they would not have time to dance
  10. Some F-22 talk...

The Brits have always been touted for their "in the weeds" abilities. The old man got to go for a backseat jaunt in a Buc from XV Squadron at Laarbruch. When they landef he asked for a clean pair of underwear - (upon returning from taking a brit up in an F-4, the brit commented that he was not used to flying that high) I got to see a pair of them beating up the countryside while we were on the Autobahn that same year, something to behold!
  11. Helicopter crash in AZ

Wow, I guess this kind of thing was inevitable. I have watched these events on the likes of FOX News, and alot of times you will be watching one image and see another aircraft blow through the picture, so I imagine it can be a bit of an uncoordinated airshow........ Charges against the driver....... that would be a first I would not want my name attached to!
  12. I always knew Bluto would wash out at some point.......
  13. She thought it was humorous, (And a sad use of my spare time!), she actually provided constructive criticism, to which I responded "Better that I used a cartoon than to ask you to pose for me!!!!"
  14. Nice skins, I did not know the Italians were even using this! (I live in a desert, literally) Fired this jet up and became an ace in one mission, (Wingman got about 3 or 4 as well!) I am sure it was a sad day when the F-104 retired......
  15. rib A tribute to the Missus, she was quite embarrassed.....
  16. aaaaahhhhhh, I see, said the blind man....
  17. Wrench, yeah, I noticed you had some Bettie's in the dowload of your "What If?...." Eagle FGR.1. (The desert, pink one) I added one of my own, a painting of Bettie sitting topless, looks awesome. Guess I should honor the wife with nose art, she puts up with alot.........
  18. I was reading on that 'other' forum (SimHq) that Jet Z had a A-19 mod for the F-104. I tried unsuccessfully to send email. Anyone who can help with this would be appreciated Gascan39
  19. Saucy Bettie P - Reference to Bettie Page. I did a decal (not suitable for non-adults) with here likeness, and especially love the art featuring her in Playboy. (Her as a red leather clad devil makes me seek out "quality alone time", but I digress.......... Nose art, women's names, etc. always fascinated me. Nothing wrong with naming an aircraft you are intimate with, besides like Gunnery Sgt Hartmann says..... "This is the only p*&$y you people will be getting" .....This is my rifle, there are many like it, but this one is mine.......
  20. I guess my kid likes planes too...

He is gonna be hooked on these sims like us!!!! Hilarious video/pics
  21. Outstanding, flew a mission in the Cuba terrain (cigars anyone?) and trounced some of Fidel's -21s. (Then hit the target, it was a strike mission!) There is an A model at the Robins AFB museum with the same white wings as this particular model, nicely done Out here Gascan
  22. Thank you, sir! This will help quench my thirst for flying the zipper hither and yon.......
  23. And That is That.......

Nice yard in the pix, god I miss grass..... Went to the AF museum during Christmas while I was en route to see my brother and family in Columbus. I had to drag my wife around, she gets bored. I made a big fuss about taking the bus out to the hangars on base, she did think the Air Force One displays were cool. I really wanted to see the Mig-29, but was told after getting out there that it is being restored for display. Yeah, I was pi$$ed...... I could really spend a week at that museum, there is so much to see and admire.
