Thanks! -
I only have two quick questions about YAP the first is what is the link to their website as I have tried to search for it and have come up empty and my second question is although I will be using their mod in WOV, I presume it is possible to use their aircraft in WOE if I so chose as well? Thanks

Crusader Update?
Tantobot posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I downloaded the Skin for the F-8D and I was wondering what type of upgrades the French put into the Crusader to make it last as long as it did in their service. I have looked everywhere online but the best I could come up with was that they added an Threat Warning receiver. Any help would be appricated Thanks -
Did the Ground Attack Tornados radar have any sort of Air Search Capability (just for identifying enemy threats) or was it only able to be used for Ground Attack missions. Thanks

Should I just delete the light lines in the DATA file if I don't want my Ai to use their lights, because it seems to me if your fighting in the dark, once in the combat area you would turn your lights off to prevent the enemy from finding you easier and once you were out of the combat zone switch them back on. Thanks

MIG-25 Afterburner
Tantobot posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Hello, I have had the MIG-25 pack for a while now and I just noticed that the DATA file calls for AfterburnerEmitter25 which I don't have in my effects folder and it is not in the Download either. Just wondering if any one could point me in the right direction. -

Shot down by SA-7
Tantobot posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Sorry to keep asking all of these questions, but even after having SFP, WOV and WOE I still find myself looking for answers. Every time I am going low and fast I sometimes target an SA-7 MANPAD but it never seems to fire, I have even on stupid occasions slowed down to about 250KTS to see if it will shoot at me but I have never been hit by one. -
Modding HUD

How would one go about modifiying a HUD specifically the one in the Tornado Package? Thanks -

All I did in Adobe Photoshop is delete the Alpha Layer and then created a new one and then saved it as the HUD texture and it worked perfect. -
Lights?
Tantobot replied to Tantobot's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
AHAHAHHA Yeah its so annoying though when you get in to combat and you see your wingmen with their lights blinking, what is interesting is that the AI that are not in your flight leave their lights off the entire time. -
Crusader Update?
Tantobot replied to Tantobot's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Just a quick question, once you have found the Node in the Hex Editor are you supposed to change it or do you just see what its name is and then proceed as you have? Thanks -

Do you think that RWR fix can be applied to the F-8D at column 5's site? -

Hmm also the FAS website says that the French Version could carry the 530 but the pylons are only stressed to 91kilos so how could they mount the 530 if the pylons could not carry that amount of weight -

I would be interested in how you placed the RWR in the Cockpit as I have wondered if Gauge placement can be done through Code. Thanks -
Weapon station Loading?
Tantobot posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Sorry for the vague topic heading, but I was wondering if a Laser Designating pod is loaded on one side what would be loaded on the other to counterbalance the Pod or does it matter? -

An Observation
Tantobot posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
I have noticed that, for instance if you are flying an F-4 and you select an F-16 to be in your flight it does not have all the Weapon options that it would normally have it you were flying it. Just wondering if anybody else has noticed this.
