Just saved the new terrain into my FE folder for later download. Judging from the screenshots posted here; I think it will add a new dimension to the game. Mac.

It's due out in UK on the 23rd and I'll make a point of seeing it as I'm a sucker for 'Epic Movies'. The comic book/graphical style of the film might work for it as it seemed to when I went to see 'Sin City', another Frank Miller graphical novel.

Hello All. I'm trying to download some of the excellent aircraft from the Skunkworks site; but can't find a Link or contact address to register. Despite doing searches on the Forum, I've not been able to find any info. I recall reading something about needing 5 posts in the Combat Ace Forum to prove sincerity but can no longer find this post. Hello All. Recently joined the CombatAce Forum after buying FE. I've always been interested in WW1 Aviation, mainly through watching movies(Flyboys and Hells Angels being the latest ones I've bought). I was surprised at the sheer volume of add-ons/mods available for this game:considering it's only been released for a few months. Though not into modding myself, I've already installed some if the high-res scenery and aircraft...The Nieuport 11 looks great;though I'm having trouble installing the wing rockets in the appropriate folder. Something I did try and mod was the sound files for the 5 various game screens. I wanted to replace the stock sounds with piano tunes I have of the French composer..Erik Satie. I tried doing a straight swop but the Satie files wouldn't play because they were WMA files(I think they've got to be WVA files) so I'll have a shot at 'ripping' a CD of Satie music to WVA format and see if this will work. I certainly get great fun out of playing FE; and look forward to seeing how it will fare over this year. Mac.

Hi Ken:thanks for prompt reply. Re'Music. If you get the chance have a look at the DVD of 'ACES HIGH'(1976 Malcom McDowall). Apart from being an excellent film ; it has 2 good musical pieces... 1.The main theme from the film;which I "think" is an RAF march called 'Aces High'. Although played by a Miltary Band it doesn't come across as too triumphant or overbearing; but seems to capture the 'jauntiness' of the then new military service. 2.'It's the Only Only Way' sung round a piano in the Squadron Mess: a comical song about the problems of getting a confirmed kill. In the movie there's also some good short soundclips, the one that comes to mind is the short breifing given on why it's so hard to shoot down observation balloons. If you can't get hold of the film let me know and I'll try to send you some short mpegs of the relevant scenes. RE' you comment about 1898 Satie music being listened to on a gramaphone; you might also consider useing certain Ragtime scores( the slower melodic ones) as this type of popular music might have been looked on as the 'rock and roll' of the 1900's decade.
