Download here: (16.3MB) http://www.max-gs.com/files/f-105d-31.zip Readme: ------------------------------------------------ *********************************** F-105D-31 Thunderchief for Strike Fighters : Project 1 *********************************** build 10-10-2004 *********************************** Installation *********************************** To install the F-105D-31 Thunderchief simply unzip the "F-105D-31" folder and place it in your "Strikefighters\Objects\Aircraft" directory. Then simply run strike fighters selecting Single Mission and picking the "F-105D-31" from the list of flyable aircraft. *********************************** Notes *********************************** You'll need to wait for Service pack 3 (if it's not already released by the time you read this) to get working tape gauges. Tough s**t. *********************************** F-105D-31 Thunderchief introduction & History *********************************** Built by Republic Aircraft, the F-105 was designed as a supersonic, single-seat, fighter-bomber able to carry nuclear weapons and heavy bomb loads over great distances at high speeds. It made its first flight on October 12, 1955. The first F-105D (58-1146) flew on 9 June 1959. The TAC at Nellis AFB, Nevada, accepted the first F-105D on September 28, 1960. The initial contract for 59 F-105Ds was increased to nearly 300 by the end of 1961. Ultimately, 610 F-105Ds were built. The F-105D variant was an all-weather fighter-bomber version, fitted with monopulse and Doppler radar for night or bad weather operations. This radar was capable of terrain avoidance commands. The original weapons bay, designed for nuclear stores, was sealed and fitted with additional fuel tanks. Bombs were carried on multiple weapons racks on the centerline of the fuselage, and on wing pylons. The aircraft was fitted with a retractable in-flight refueling probe. During the Vietnam War, F-105 units operated from bases in Thailand. The F-105D was the major production version of the Thunderchief series. It was an all-weather version of the day-only F-105B. Externally, the -D differed from the -B in having a slightly longer and wider nose, which housed the AN/ASG-19 "Thunderstick" system designed to meet new all-weather requirements specified in the November 1957. The AN/ASG-19 was designed around the NASARR R-14A all-purpose monopulse radar. This was optimized in both air-to-ground and air-to-air modes and was capable of performing both low-level and high-altitude missions. The aircraft was equipped with a General Electric FC-5 flight control system that operated in conjunction with the R-14A radar to provide the F-105D with full all-weather capability. The system included a bomb-toss computer, a sight system, an AN/APN-131 Doppler navigator, an air data computer, missile launch computer, autopilot, and search and ranging radar. The radar installation also incorporated a terrain guidance mode permitting the pilot to descend through bad weather in unfamiliar territory and to hug the ground, avoiding detection. A J75-P-19W jet engine equipped with water injection powered the F-105D. A new cockpit was provided with a vertical instrument panel. The higher gross weight of the -D version required the provision of a stronger main landing gear and more robust brakes. In addition, a pitot tube was mounted on the extreme tip of the nose. The aircraft were otherwise quite similar to other F-105s. The F-105D had an arrester hook mounted on the rear of the ventral fin. This hook was intended to engage a wire in case the aircraft overshot the end of the runway during a landing. The Thunderchief was not capable of carrier-based operations. *********************************** Known Issues *********************************** * Service pack 3 needed for tape gauges *********************************** Aircraft Files *********************************** Authored by David: F-105D-31.LOD F-105D-31.ini F-105D-31_DATA.ini F-105D-31_HANGAR.bmp F-105D-31_LOADOUT.bmp F-105D-31_LOADOUT.INI F-105D-31_LOADING.bmp F-105D-31_HANGAR.bmp Authored by Lansen & David: Cockpit textures Authored by Sundowner: All Decals Authored by Volksjaeger: Skin files Authored by Column5: Flight model/data file *********************************** Thanks to *********************************** Lansen(!!!) Armourdave replied to jakar's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Is the problem you cant run the game, or is the problem you cant extract the data from the objectdata cat file? You need the SFP1E (SFP1 extractor) can get it from checksix. Cheers -

Armourdave replied to darkpresence=JW='s topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Ughhh Chicago handed YOU the model, it's his work. Are you now trying to claim the model was yours? That really has nothing to do with you. None of it is your work. Cheers -
Will the aircraft in SFP1 work in WOV?
Armourdave replied to navychief's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
From what I've heard yes it will be possible. I wouldn't be suprised if WoV has the exact same file/folders structure as SFP1 so it'll be as simple as select aircraft in your SFP1 aircraft folder, right click, copy, open the WoV aircaft folder paste. Done. Cheers -

Armourdave replied to darkpresence=JW='s topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
What a load of horse s**t. You took Chicagos model and did NOTHING to it. Then you talked some rubbish about starting your own software company then decided you were going to join the police force and handed over Chicagos model with basically no work done to it. Lessens the quality? Cheaky f***er. Oh btw, when I checked your A-6 pit it was completely inaccurate, looked like you'd built it without any drawings, what a joke. Cheers -

Download here: http://max-gs.com/files/HunterF6.zip (12.8MB's) You need the latest weapons pack ( http://max-gs.com/adave/weaponsdev/ ) Package includes 7 skins; 6 by Sundowner and 1 by Gramps. Readme: *********************************** Hawker Hunter F.6 for Strike Fighters : Project 1 *********************************** build 05-09-2004 *********************************** Installation *********************************** To install the Hawker Hunter F.6 simply unzip the "Hunter_F6" folder and place it in your "Strikefighters\Objects\Aircraft" directory. Then simply run strike fighters selecting Single Mission and picking the "Hawker Hunter F.6" from the list of flyable aircraft. *********************************** Notes *********************************** No custom pit with this release..The F-100 is very similar in general shape and instrumentation so makes for a good stand-in. You'll need the latest weapons pack to use the Hunter. With the latest weapons pack you'll find you have access to 100 and 230 gallon fuel tanks, plus 100 gallon napalm, MATRA SNEB rocket pods and 60lb rockets. *********************************** Hawker Hunter F.6 introduction & History *********************************** The Hawker Hunter is a classic plane with a long and exciting history. It was designed between the close of WWII and the Korean War, the latter even hastening (and complicating) its development, in the real beginnings of the ?blowtorch" era, a period when the basic features of jet fighters ? many of them still valid - had to be designed. Notably of interest with the Hunter is its adaptability to different roles and hence its long service life despite the even increased pace of development. The first prototype Hunter was aerodynamically cleaned up and reconfigured for a world speed record attempt in 1953 by installing a stronger engine with reheat, twin airbrakes and a pointed nose cone. Painted in a high gloss bright red scheme, it set a (short standing) world speed record at 709.22 mph over a 100 km course. Basically, the Hunter was designed as an air superiority fighter. It was to be armed with the then standard four Hispano 20 mm guns, which was later changed to 30 mm Aden guns. The maiden flight of the first prototype took place on 20 July 1950, but it was only 1953 that the first production planes were introduced with RAF squadrons. Development of the Hunter had been pressed forward under "Super Priority" conditions following the appearance of the then superior MiG 15 jet fighter in Korea, but as it turned out, the Korean war was over before the Hunter could be deployed. As a consequence of the speed-up development, several design flaws appeared only in the production planes and had to be cured the hard way. Main problems were the very short range, a strong tendency to nose pitch-downs caused by the use of the flaps as airbrakes and several problems with the guns. The early Hunters were retired after only five years and replaced by improved variants. The F.4 and F.5, introduced in 1955 (produced by Hawker and Armstrong-Whitworth respectively and equipped with Rolls-Royce or Armstrong powerplants) had an improved internal fuel capacity plus reinforced wings with provisions for underwing stores (fuel tanks, bombs or rockets) and the link collector blisters. The final fighter variant was the F.6, equipped with a 10,000 lb thrust Avon engine. The higher thrust effected the necessity of several aerodynamical modifications, outwardly most notable a redesigned wing with leading edge extensions and blast deflectors on the gun muzzles. As an interceptor, the Hunter was soon outperformed and replaced by the English Electric Lightning, which was a fully supersonic plane whereas the Hunter had to go into a dive to become supersonic. *********************************** Known Issues *********************************** * None at present *********************************** Aircraft Files *********************************** Authored by David: Hunter_f6.LOD Hunter_f6.ini Hunter_f6_DATA.ini Hunter_f6_HANGAR.bmp Hunter_f6_LOADOUT.bmp Hunter_f6_LOADOUT.INI Hunter_f6_LOADING.bmp Hunter_f6_DATA.ini Hunter_f6_HANGAR.bmp Authored by Sundowner: All Decals in "\D" folder IAF20 skin RAF34 skin RAF14 skin RAF74 skin RAF41 skin RAF45 skin Authored by Gramps: RAF4 skin *********************************** Thanks to *********************************** Sundowner Gramps Diego Marcelo Cheers -

English women are getting fatter, I notice it especially in my university. The problem here is not McDonalds, but drinking. A lot of girls here have beer bellies. Alot of girls will go out and drink 5 or 6 pints of beer in a night. In the last 6 months I've got to know a lot of different nationalities. Easily the best dressed, most desirable, have been French girls. Sorry to say though, in this case the stereotype seems true, French girls are fairly stuck-up. The most fun to go out with were definitely the Italian girls. Most men here develop beer bellies, but I dont think we have a big problem with obesity in men, not until mid-30's anyway. Nick, you are right about the dress sense of English women. It's appauling, they all dress like Britney spears accepting only the latest trends. It's unfortunately due to a major lack of confidence. Cheers

Good luck Chief. In some ways you are lucky he has this problem with his kneecaps rather than the arthritis, atleast it can be operated on. We had a jack Russell that got arthritis in her left rear leg. It got progressive worse to the point whereby the leg was cocked out at 30 degrees. There was nothing we could do but have the dog put-down. :( Cheers
