I agree, that was a great read! I must recommend Flight of the Intruder by Stephen Coonts. The guy flew in A-6's so the novel has a real authentic feel to it. :yes:

Yeah, I was also away for a while, then I saw the ODS mod! So my analogy would be; like having returned home from a long weekend, you see a message on your answering machine, and it's from that hot chick you were always interested in! Ok, I remember a few months ago somebody made a map for WoV with most of the SAM locations. Can't seem to find it now, but it's a great idea. -

How do you guys know how much SAM activity there will be in a target area? I don't remember seeing any pre-flight SAM intel anywhere. -

Yeah he updated cause he has the 'unlimited graphics' option. He just has trouble believing his super amazing rig can't play the game on max settings -

GTA 4 also runs great for me with max settings, but not WOE. They're different games. Also when you patch a Third Wire sim, it becomes much more recent, it's not a '2002' game anymore. We're trying to give you the answer to your problem, but if you don't want to understand... -
Actually, near sub collisions between the US and Soviets often happened. They basicaly get a contact, track it for training, lose contact and... bang! Here's an interesting article http://www.armscontrol.ru/subs/collisions/debates.htm

Yup, I just followed my own advice and added myself a CCIP to my F-111F Can't imagine bombing without it, for sure the real guys in the Desert Storm F-111's had one (or something like it).
