  4. Frontlines Fuel of War: PC Demo

Community Manager from Kaos Studios, has informed us that the PC Multiplayer Demo for Frontlines: Fuel of War will be released on March 11, 2008 at 1pm EST and will contain the maps Invasion and Oilfield. Many people have been asking and we're happy to announce that we will be releasing a PC multiplayer demo of Frontlines: Fuel of War on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 1pm EST. This PC multiplayer demo will be based on the final version of the game and feature an all-new map "Invasion" in addition to the final "Oilfield" map. We will be posting more information on how to get the demo as well as a list of fixes and changes that have been made since the last beta patch, as we get closer to the release of the demo. Kaos Studios and THQ would also like to thank you for all of your time, effort, and enthusiasm during the Frontlines beta. As part of our preparation for the demo, we will be bringing the open beta servers offline on Monday, February 18, 2008 at 11pm EST. Your participation during the beta has been extremely helpful and we again thank you for all your time and efforts. The forums at http://community.kaosstudios.com will stay open in the meantime and we will post any updates about the demo there. We are planning a "Fight the Devs" beta event for Monday. Watch the forums for more info shortly. Thanks and see you on the frontlines!
  5. Frontlines Fuel of War: PC Demo

Yeah, the bots i can say learn and are tough going along in game. Though if you get a chance it is a rather intense game and the beta could be closing rather soon as well. It is better than ET:QW and i didnt care for it and i love this game.

  9. FarCryII Launches Official Website

You like playing SP in all games, no MP at all?
  10. FarCryII Launches Official Website

Yeah, i thought they had hyped the game more than anything else. While it is a resource hog, it isnt all that and i became rather bored after the single player and once i got into the mp it just wasnt all that. They seemed to put more into the single player without thinking about the mp, they over hyped Crysis and that is that. Its my opinion though many that i know share the same feeling.
  11. FarCryII Launches Official Website

Hmmm, i wasnt all that impressed by the CryEngine nor Crysis as it was more less more hype and after release it was a dud!

  13. Frontlines - Interview

The gang at Outpostgamez had a talk with Brian Holinka, Lead Technical Designer for Frontlines:Fuel of War. He talks about consulting with the US military, about how friendly the modding will be, leaderboards and a lot of other good stuff. OPG: What type of environments will a gamer experience, examples such as sand storms, rain, wind? FFOW: The variety in the landscapes that our level designers, lead by Richard “Iggy” Cowgill of Desert Combat fame, and environment artists have built is tremendous. While we don’t have any in-game weather systems per se, they’ve been very creative in using environmental effects to build really immersive ambience. Coupled with some really powerful and impressive sound (I’ll be blatantly honest, I feel our sound superior to many of our competitors that I’ve played recently), it makes you forget your staring at a screen and draws you in. I’m really proud of what those guys have done and I’m just glad to have been associated with them on this project. The interview covers plenty of topics and is a very interesting piece, so you should definitely go check it out. Read on……. http://outpostgamez.com/article-7-FFOW-OPG...-Interview.html

Currently there are two options one is with Fileplanet and the other is through Frontlines AU. Make sure you provide Kaos Studios with feedback on your thoughts and feelings about the game. Update: We are now providing a mirror for the beta client. However you are still required to have a CD-Key in which you can obtain at the above sites. 23. Frontlines - Interview

Jedi, Myself and about 30 of my teammates participated in the closed beta for the last 6-8months and it is good game but and as its still in beta form i cant make a final decision until its release though many of us are rather pleased with the amount of fleability in the game play and we are rather pleased with the amount of communication in whcih has lacked in many games and ther community from the companies in general. Cheers, Acidrain
