Master Chief

I am encountering problems with the throttle in training missions. I tried the setup but I am still not sure I have it right and to be honest I don't understand everything that I am suppose to do. Presently I am only doing training mission, so as an example Mission one loads learning to fly and immediately the throttle goes to after burner; in Mission to take off and I taxi the screen comes up I am on the taxi Way and I move the joy stick throttle increases . In short I never no what to expect, so it is probably me but darn if I know what to do. This joy stick is the best I have ever owned, but then I only had one other so that does not say much. I do have the 4.2 down load from CH but I have only used the basics. Can anyone help me, Master Chief

I am not complaining but is there really a support site at Lead Pursuit? I sent a support question, two in fact, and I received one automated response with a number-thats it. If no one answers at that site I won't bother sending any again. I sent them about 2-3 weeks ago. Master Chief

Jedi; I am not sure how big it was and I wondered at the time. But I notice on your earlier post, the list of files, the last seven on that list is the ones you want. There isn't a file for the Kilo - You have one audio file and 6 interface. That is all the files above these seven combined. Mater Chief.

I received an e-mail this morning such as I had never seen and it sent up warnings. If I am concerned about nothing, my apologies, but it certainly seemed odd to me. I have been on some of these forums for many years and never got an e-mail like this. It would usually be posted on the site if nay work was going to be done. I am a brand new member, and I am not receiving notification to my post. The forum says I have it enabled, and the only one I have received was a fast Reply. Erik, Thanks, I believe I have every thing done as you directed. I am logging in as xxxxxxxxx that went fine. For some reason at he top of this screen it stills shows me as logged as Master Chief. I will try a new post and see what happens. It shows further down on this screen that I am setup to receive instant notification. I do appreciate your help. Thank you, Master Chief

Guys this was a major screw up, to much automation. I sure miss the Cold War, it was the era for Nuclear Subs, and I believe it is about to go again. Russia is making some serious moves in their fleet, and China has almost exclusive stated major improvements to their Air and Naval Branches. They have bought several Amphis for Russia and have tested a sub launched SLBM and are building a new FBM to replace the Xia, and they have started building several new SSN to replace the Han. I believe they are serious and becoming more serious everyday. I know the US Navy has started serious planning for possibilities, and plans to increase the Naval presence in the region. China has worked up plans to deny access by us to some of our traditional allies e.g Japan and Korea. Master Chief.

Jedi Master; I have been playing Sub Sims for a long time and I will be honest, I still use Auto-Crew, simply because there is to much going on. In DW I don't use Auto Crew Sonar as it gives you to many false returns, but if I know I should be holding a contact I will click it on to help me locate and then track, after I have location I turn it off. I still use TMA, and Fire Control. I seldom ever use active sonar which is the way it is. People say high frequencey is dectable, I don't believe it I can't account for any time I was picked up Using High frequency. You will read o making all tubes ready at the baginning, it might in real life but not in these sims. I will be gald to help you with Sub Sims any time, it very little for me for the help all of you are giving me in these flight sims. Good news is I have not crashed YET. In DW if you don't have 1.04 Patch, LAWMI Mod, and the Sound Mod let me know and I will send them to you. I would prefer to send them by e-mail as I am not very good using these forums yet. The only way I can receive notification is by using Fast Repy. I posted on the bug report all though I believe it is on my end. Have a good week end, Master Chief

I am brand new to this site and I am brand new to flight Sims. I played them before a long time ago and was only good at crashing. I just had back surgery and I am on limited duty. I went out and bought myself a couple of Sims, and a decent Joy Stick. I am working on Falcon 4 AF and so so, but my key board does not jive with the the key on the setup. I have not changed anything and I doing training missions. I have not made any changes so I don't know what the problem could be. Also how do you change which model you fly, the one I have now is a two seater but I don't have a clue how I got that one. I am going to have a tome of questions, I hope that is OK. Dagger; I appreciate any help at all. I am still doing basic stuff but enjoying it. I love my Sub Sims, but one thing about these Flight Sims you are always doing something. I really loved Subs and I was on them during the height of the Cold War, and h.ll of a lot younger but darn it was exciting. Some of the subs I served on were in the book "Blind Man's Bluff". I would really like to find out what type of spec ops they do now. I would think we still keep track of the Russian and I am sure now we are monitoring the Chinese, considering their increased Naval operations and construction. Thanks Cool Hand, That is what I am doing. Like you, I ran the Manual off, and I am just going through the training missions one at a time. I feel I have learning how to fly and take-offs down pretty well and I am now doing the turns. Thanks for the advice and concern, Ron

Gentlemen: If you go to www.subsim.com and www.subguru.com you will find everything you need. The Subguru site has it all, 1.04, LWAMI 3.08 ,Finiteless Sound Mod, Sugguru toned downed stars, There is a lot of other stuff, but these are the ones I use. The sound mod corrects a volume problem that DW has. Also I run SC with the SCXIIc mod and it is great. Subguru has a lot of mission, campaigns, and multi-play missions. I am, as you might have guessed a Sub fan, I rode them for 24 years, from the early 60s until my retirement in 1981. I am enjoying try to learn Falcon 4, and F/A18 OIF-emphasis on try and learn, but along Way to go. Respectfully, Ron Banks MMCM(SS), USN(Ret)

Good morning Dagger; Thanks for the advice and I will take it. I was a Machinist Mate, Nuclear trained, Submarine qualified. Dagger I never bad mouth the United States Marine Corps, they have guarded Navy gates for over 200 years and we have never lost one, now that is an enviable record. Gentleman; I am brand new this forum, and know little or nothing about Air Sims, I am leaning though. I would like to speak for DW, as I am a player and designer over on that site. All of my work is with Subs, more specifically US Subs especially the 688i class. DW with the new patch and LWAMI mods has become quite an excellent Sim. Very stable and plays well. I will be honest I am not a fan of the H-60, P-3C, FFG, Kilo, and occasional play the Akula. I believe if you go to Sub Sim and SubGru site you will find plenty of material and challenge. Granted there are no Fast Mover like here, but you will be challenged. Respectfully, Ron Banks MMCM(SS), USN(Ret)
