  1. I built my own flight controls, I don't know anything about the saitek, but I did notice that at least with some of the axis type controls (in my case the thrust vector) the direction can be determined by whch way you rotate or slide the control during the assignment.
  2. Yes but... The moral here is that, despite my apparent capacity for understandig and forgiveness, a simple and what's the word... knee-jerk type reaction has had undesireable results, I had one member here in a PM who has showed a rare wisdom, made me realise that things are not allways black and white, I sadly realised too late, go to the what-if forum and you will see the bizzarre turn of events, so this matter is more or less closed, with apologies cancelling each other out to a neutal state.
  3. I just wish I had the insight and intuition that some of our members have shown here, This could have had a happier conclusion, I would have had an appreciation for some aspects of cultural differences, Please Mr koushiro accept my appology if it seems I have isulted your wife, I wish that you didn't feel you have to leave the forum, I guess if the events were as you describe then your wife was acting out of some loyalty to you which is admirable and correct if a little misguided, be proud of her. Sorry Craig
  4. Oh that's sad news, he was a marvellous actor, and sickenigly handsome fellow in his youth. God bless him
  5. Ciao Alex, non parlo italiano, Problem fix is listed in the english forum. Grazie Craig
  6. Thank you to the folks showing support for my work, seems most of the US Military and one angry Brazillian have got my back , seriously though I think a significant cross section of this community have showed their feeling on this topic and it reflects my initial feeling, nevertheless this remains a public appology to this member who will strictly remain annonymous, a person must stick to their convictions, I expected a constructive criticism, I must therefore be as good as my own expectations, my response was colourfull and equally rude. thank you again
  7. Hey we can be friends, I'd like nothing better, I just want to get you airborne in the Typhoon, did you have any luck by the way?
  8. Hey Stick, I enjoyng this thread, nice to see people having fun with this and sharing, thats what it was created for, just wanted to ask, are you a WOI owner? what do you think of the new aggressive AI when put in charge of a Typhoon, Myself have been amazed, I dont think I did anything in particular to make this, just seemed to be a pure accident, what I'm saying is sometimes when I order my wingmen to go in they don't leave anything for me.
  9. Hmm, setting up FM's is difficult stuff, I have to say it's beyond my full grasp, I would never have released this if I had to wait until it was complete, I am relying on you guys to give it a shake down and point me to where things need tuning, in addition I am hoping to gain the support of some of our resident experts to assist in this task. I did release this a bit early but i felt I had to in order to make progress on it.
  10. I recieved a PM from a member who I guess wanted remain annonymous, with regards to my recently released Typhoon, we have mutually blocked each other so I cant contact them via PM to explain my actions here now, perhaps a friend of this person can point them towards this, the content was as follows; I am not posting this to gain sympathy, I would like to make a full and public appology to this member for my choice of language in my response, my sentiment remains unchanged that it was a bit rude and unfair to make such a statement, but nevertheless an appology is due to this member and I hope they can findit in themselves to forgive me. Sincerely Craig
  11. No, I made no assumptions, just had me wondering because you posted on this thread, it is a curious problem.
  12. I've had this before, but are you suggesting it's the typhoon that has the issue or just in general, I have seen it with other aircraft.
  13. But this is exactly the issue that has been discussed the most, in all threads on several posts I have explained that there are 2 entries at the bottom of the avionics file that should be deleted or rendered inefective, in order that WOE does not attempt to read them , these are the cause of the Game crashing in WOE, the entries are for steerpoint and steering cue, once these entries are deleted or disabled the game will run, remember I have explained that this model is created for WOI, so some features will not work in WOE, mainly all of the digital counters, they are set up with the new WOI format. a future hint, this forum is sometimes an extension of the readme file, there is a good chance any issues you encounter will be the same for some others, they inevitably will have made posts outlining their problem in detail, and the modders and or the fantastic staff here will have made some attempt to answer the question, most of the time this will lead straight to a usefull fix and get you in the air lickety-split. p.s. I look forward to your very nice looking J-10, if you ever need help, I would be only too happy
  14. EricJ, Goodness, if I am not mistaken that look just like a serviceable Typhoon carrying a heavy load of offensive ground attack ordinance mixed with some air to air weapons and some tanks to give range, looking quite ready for a multi role action, possibly running in WOE, and you achieved all this by following the readme, that is nothing short of a miracle Never mind me, I'm feeling a bit frazzled, my fingers are bleeding from typing today, but it's kind of been invigorating.
  15. Odd, they are set up as manually activated animations, somehow you have something activating your assigned animation keys I would guess.
  16. It could be made to work but it's going to take some text editing here and there.
  17. No problem PIGHUNTA, it's been a pleasure doing this for good folk like you.
  18. Talk to me, whats actually not happening for you, I am primed and ready to help, feeling pumped, cmown hhoaah! uh uh uh!!! I'm going mad
  19. Thank you for calling Typhoon product support, have a nice day
  20. Thats very strange, can you confirm that you are putting th pilot and seat lod in the folder named aircraft (main directoryinside the objects folder), or do you mean the aircraft folder as in the typhoon folder?
  21. maybe your command of english is not perfect, either way this sounds a little rude, My guess is you haven't quite followed the instructions correctly and have been too quick to make your comment, this is a forum where issues get discussed at length and in depth and your particular issue has been covered, others are having no problems, why are you? I don't know unless you make a more constructive statement explaining your problem in detail.
  22. They allready have, go check em out, X RAY's is very nice And a fantastic job you do of it, each and every one of you
  23. NeverEnought, that is very thoughtfull of you, I'm glad you appreciate how rare my hair is
  24. [Radar_Mode_TWS] SymbolType=ASE_CIRCLE Position=-0.60,-0.780 TextureIRM=cockpit\RADAR\mode_tws.tga TextureSAHM=cockpit\RADAR\mode_tws.tga TextureAHM=cockpit\RADAR\mode_tws.tga RemoveOnBreakX=FALSE ImageSize=0.15 And the [Radar_Mode_TWS] was not called in the [RadarDisplayTWS] By adding the line Symbol[21]=Radar_Mode_Tws, the indication TWS appears when you choose TWS radar mode Hmm, but if I interpret this correctly, you are just trying to achieve the effect of bringing up a simple indicator showing TWS by associating it with an alowable steering error circle, when as I mentioned a single call for a text entry will show TWS on screen, this is where I have to admit to using someone elses work, I basically studied the avionics of the F-15 and F-22, made verbatim entries from those files, deleted things that I felt were surplus, and some .tga's I was using in development didnt get deleted, and you found it. as I mentioned, I ommitted the need for a TWS marker on screen by making a mode indicator button on the MFD, what you are doing here is almost replacing a usefull symbology like the ASE circle with a simple mode indicator, I can't be sure of it but I imagine the avionics might not allow multiple ASE circles to be displayed simultaneously, hope you understand my meaning here.
