  1. Hello everyone! The saddest thing has happened a week ago; my PC died and my data on the HD is not recoverable :cray: . So I have lost all the aircraft I acquired over the years , and worst of it all is that a lot is gone in oblivion. Where are the magnificent MiG-21pack, the A-10A pack, the NAW-10B, Yak-28P and so on and so on. I have recently tried to search the net for sites to scrape (also via Streak Eagle's links) and have now managed to recover a lot but not all. My question is if there is anyone able to help me out ? Please drop me a personal e-mail about this, it would really really really be appreciated! Thank you! (A very sad) Muesli
  2. Hello forum companions! I want to thank you all in helping me recover from the forementioned small inhouse disaster. Especially Kirsten, Bounder, Dave but also all others who offered help, assistance, advice, files. You all ROCK! At this point I have about 75% of what I had, and I am quite happy I got this far. Now it is just a matter of tweaking and I can play as in my old days. I now have bought a 500GB external HD so after making a backup I hope this situation will never happen again! Muesli
  3. DAMN 101tfs! I just installed your bird, and it is one hell of a plane! Cudo's for the work, if this is a beta I will eagerly await the release candidate! Thanks in advance! Muesli
  4. Wow Lindr, you're quite busy! Keep up the good work!
  5. Nice, Wrench. Will do that rightaway and clean up my inscreen view! Cheers!
  6. Just a question for you guys! As a complete analphabetic sim gamer I have always liked my combined install of SFP1/WOV/WOE. Lots of planes, lots of weapons and so on. With the appearance of WOI, and a recent crash of my PC, I was aiming on making a re-install with WOI as a basis and pumping a lot of data from the SFP1/WOV/WOE era to it. (1)Especially the Bunyap Weapons pack. Is there anyone who has managed to do this? I mean, I have asked several times what I had to do with my Weapons Editor (YES, it is the latest and YES I used the Win compatibility mode...) just NOT working despite all advice, readmes and tutorials. I now have a fresh WOI install and downloaded Bunyap's WP, guess what...... I still get stuck in the limited "standard" choices and the extra's don't show......despite readmes and tutorials...... I mean, I have a lot of LODs, a lot of weapon skin files, a Weapondata.ini file with more than 2500 items, and only a handfull show up ingame...... If there is no alternative, I would like to hear from one of the experts if it is possible to provide me with a ready-to-use weapondata.ini and weapondata.dat file which includes the bunyap and mirage weapons packs (you can PM me for an e-mail address) which you use yourself. In ZIP or Rar format is easiest I think. (2)All extra aircraft. I am getting some help retrieving the planes I had (thanks for the ones who helped me!) but will there be problems installing them in WOI. Are there things I have to take into account? As with the shadow files and with the "AircraftShortName" files?! Or do I have to use aircraft specificly designed for WOI? Advice is welcome! If all aircraft can be used, nice! For those wanting to point me to different pages on this forum; I know! I have wrestled through tons of stuff to get my stuff to work, I am not just a lazy S.O.B. trying to take a shortcut! Or did I do juzt a dumb and bad job buying WOI and should I go back to the good old SFP1/WOV/WOE days? With which I have to start all over again also..... ANybody feeling kind enough to help me out will earn my greatest and deepest respect! (For what that's worth) Muesli
  7. Hello everybody. With painstaking patience, and after reading a lot of new tips on "how to", I will give the install of WOI a try and I will make an effort in trying to fit in as much content of SFP1.WOE and WOV as possible. I'll tell you all about it. I want to thank everybody who has reached out a helping hand in the forementioned matter, and I hope to get the game up and running again as I had it in the past. So, THANKS!!!
  8. @Viper6: Hope you find a way to make this work as best as you can! Salud! Muesli

  11. The A-5 is in the inventory of Pakistan, Bangladesh, North Korea, Myanmar, Sudan and North Korea. So, there's a lot more research to do and make some nice skins as well!! Anyway, splendid job already, 101tfs! Muesli

  13. My item list would be very very short..... :blush2:
  14. I know, but it is in vain though. The HD is physically broken, as were other crucial parts. First thing I tried when I stepped behind my girlfriend's PC was to check if there was anything to be salvaged from the HD. Nope..... so I wept like a little boy (almost). Thanks for thinking with me! Muesli
  15. Mega Poll: Greatest Rock Albums of All Time

Might be a little fresher and greener than the average album mentioned before, but in my humble opinion the album "Ten" from Pearl Jam is a righteous jam!!!! I mean, it is home of a few of the best songs ever!!! Who not to appreciate Alive, Black or Jeremy??!! Just my two cents... Muesli
  16. Thanks man, I owe you! And for something completely different; could you explain to me the meaning of the attached picture below your messages (with the logo, badges and flags) because I am intrigued by it. Cheers!

  18. Croatia has a heli and fighter base in Split (on the coast) which should be proper. In Bosnia, the central airport of Sarajevo is a goody, as well as in Mostar!
