  2. Croatia has a heli and fighter base in Split (on the coast) which should be proper. In Bosnia, the central airport of Sarajevo is a goody, as well as in Mostar!
  3. Guys! How much I appreciate you being on the forum, I do not think it is intended to create small separate "clubs" by ignoring the basic rule of English as board language. On this site there are other places where you can do this. Hope not to sound like a moderator, but although I sometimes have the urge to speak Dutch to some others here on the board, I do not do this as I think it is impolite because you separate yourself. Consider switching to English and let all members enjoy! Cheers! Muesli
  4. Can you also add the crooked pitot tube??
  5. Thanks a lot! ALready I appreciate the effort, PM on the way! Cheers!
  6. Like I said, I put it in Win98 ànd in Win95 compatibility mode, and once I got frustrated it didn't work either I tried to do it step-by-step as done in the specified topic. Result: the same empty weapons loadout menu. So, why oh why oh why? Is there anyone who wants to help me in following: -I send the weapondata.dat ànd weaponsdata.ini to you via e-mail. -you check what's wrong and do the things as explained. -you send the files back to me. -I check it in-game and either do 3,000 backflips happy, or cry like a baby! -you will get everlasting respect from someone who cannot solve this apparently! Cheers, Muesli

  12. graphics in flight sims

The whole world revolves around money, and why should a game developer be any different. What makes the difference is the company culture. Example 1: Digital Illusions and 2015 rocked the world with Battlefield 1942 and Medal of Honor Allied Assault. Nowadays, EA has completely taken over the task of building "their" games and produced a number of sequel games NOT better than the originals. Reason; money. Example 2: Thirdwire has made Strike Fighters: Project One, Wings over Vietnam and Wings over Europe. It could have milked out the popular basic game. Instead they tweaked it, built First Eagles and Wings over Israel and always gave the freedom to the community to built oodles of add-ons. THAT is the way to create a crowd of followers, THAT is the real way to make games. In my view most game developers who create simulation games belong to the category as described in example 2, because it is known simulations never are blockbusters but are still made for the small crowd. Therefore it is safe to say that the main drive is NOT money, or they should have made crappy FPS's instead! I do not know how long you are dwelling the simulation forums, Rugrat, but you should take the effort in really discovering this site in order to see what potential a small company as Thirdwire has given the community to make something fun and nice, with games costing almost half what giants like Activision, Ubisoft and EA ask. There will always be something to complain about, but the last time I checked there wasn't a man from a game company behind me forcing me to buy and play a game.... So, concluded, enjoy the games, enjoy the add-ons, enjoy the forum. Muesli
  13. Hahaha, now we can wait until he wants another plane and someone gives him a link. I will link you, too: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...s&showcat=2 And, when future requests pop into your mind, do a search first or remember the words from Achmed the dead terrorist: "Silence...... I kill you!!!" Cheers!
