  1. Who's ready for COD 4?

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO very ready for it. Especially after the catastrophe called Medal of Honor Airborne I am eager to play CoD4. A pity the Medal of Honor series on the PC died after Allied Assault because 2015 left. Call of Duty has always captured me in multiplay and probably will again!
  2. Bring on the TSR-2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. What Do You Look Like in Uniform Thread

Hahahaha, yeah well...... Although I am grey (old in the eyes of the little ones!), it is only 13 years ago and I was just 20 then..... Therefore, in my short and humble life, it seems to me long, long, long ago!! You can see that virtually nothing has changed, still the young god! Have a nice weekend everyone!
  4. What Do You Look Like in Uniform Thread

Long, long, long time ago!!! Back in 1994, me as a United Nations ambulance driver in UNPROFOR service in central Bosnia. Part of the 1(Nl/Be) UN TBAT, we were assigned to distributing humanitarian goods for UNHCR. In these convoys, I was driving the ambulance as medical support. Boy, I was a real naieve kid back then! Oh, and 50lbs lighter and with less grey hair than I have nowadays! Nice to see faces with the nickname! Greetz Muesli (which is my nickname dating back to my army days!)
  5. Hey all! For the experts among us; I want to try to use a weapon editor (like on this site) but when I open the data file it counts only up to about 1058. As my data file has about 2100 entries I do not understand... Also, when looking at the content it is virtually impossible to find, add or save properly. At worst, my data file is shortened to the 1058 mentioned earlier and I can say goodbye to most weapons. How do you get it to work, and how do you use this (or any other) editor to make for example the Mig-19P/PM nose work. Can't get it done, please request help! Thanks in advance!
  6. Thanks guys, for all the quick and clear replies. i will work with that later today! happy flying! Muesli
  7. Manfred was a midget

I have a dude in the hood who walks his Dane every day around our block. If that dog didn't produce an occasional "Wrufff!!" I would have thought it was a calf or a pony. Those critters are HUUUUUGE! As for Manfred and that theory; thank god that's a heap of ...!
  8. Mirror mirror on the wall whos the ugliest of them all

The French were masters in designing, producing AND flying ugly planes in the years between the 1st and 2nd WW... Really, I think it was a design trend there, almost EVERY manufacturer created these... Of course, the French have always been a bit....... peculiar! http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww15/b/855/21/0/5 (also great for growing vegetables). http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww15/b/427/21/0/4 http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww15/b/1528/21/0/1 (chopped to reduce weight?) http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww15/b/859/21/0/6 (can also be used to grind coffee) http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww15/t/1384/21/0/1 (derelict shoe boxes) http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/1517/21/0/1 http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/1635/21/0/1 And finally, a perfect example of the German thought "Anything you can do, I can do better!": http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/s/1693/2/0/1 Enjoy, and wash your eyes after watching!
  9. Based on our national pride of that time, The HMS Karel Doorman, this is an orange nosed Sea Fury FB.51 of the Marine Luchtvaart Dienst. This is just a test, after more fiddling I will probably add the skin somewhere next week! Ciao!
  10. Hahahahaha, that saying sounds ridiculous in English. Thanks, and I hope you like it! Ciao dude!
  11. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...ode=sst&id=5360 File Name: Hawker Sea Fury FB.51, MLD 860 Sqn File Submitter: muesli File Submitted: 4 Oct 2007 File Updated: 7 Feb 2008 File Category: British Air Force and Navy Skins File Version: No Information Website: No Information Hello all, Again a release of a Dutch paint job, I have used a skin by Tim Canada. The Hawker flew with the Dutch for a while. The aircraft of 860 Sqn were recognisable by their orange spinner and were stationed on the aircraft carrier HMS Karel Doorman for a while. The number 6 stands for the letter F, while this is the 6th letter in the alphabet (! Yep, some creative thinking there) and it stands for fighter or fighter-bomber. Other aircraft were stencilled with the number 10, being the 10th letter (J meaning "jager" meaning fighter) but I think these were all from 3 Sqn recognisable by a white spinner. These were land based at naval airbase Valkenburg (close to Katwijk). For now, enjoy! PS: Thanks for letting me alter your fantastic skin, Tim Canada! Click here to download this file
  12. Now available as download in the Cold War skins section!
  13. What if one of us, SFP1 users, who has the F. version uploads it to this site?

  15. File Name: Royal Dutch Airforce Hunter F. Mk.4 (mod) File Submitter: muesli File Submitted: 1 Oct 2007 File Updated: 9 Oct 2007 File Category: Hunter/Lightning Skins This is one of several Fokker-built Hunters of the KLu which were stationed in Papua New Guinea in the early sixties. It was essentially a F.4 on which the wings of the F.6 type were joined. these have dogtooth trailing edges. The tail represents the PNG flag. Enjoy this handsome one! (Thanks Sundowner for the use of the basic Hunter skin!) PS: This skin is to be used for AD's Hunter F.6, so NOT for the standard Hunter FGA in WOE!! Click here to download this file

  22. Ehm, I have the file here. I concerted the BMP into a JPG to ease upload. Simply make a BMP of the Hunter_1 file again and play! Ciao
  23. Hey dudes, managed to fiddle with the tail and create a Dutch Hunter from the New Guinea era. Looks rather spiffy if I may say so!
  24. The one downloadable on this site. It is AD's Hunter F.6. Enjoy!
  25. And here the file, if you like it a bit... It's only one aircraft, only one serial. I do not have the time (yet) to make a decal set. Ciao guys, enjoy!
