  6. Folks: Another late arrival for the ODS mod. Attached is an updated version of the A-4KU from dtmdragon. To install: 1. Remove the existing A-4KU folders from \Aircraft and \Decals in your ODS Mods Folder. 2. Unpack the attached 7zip archive and drop the \Objects folder in your ODS Mods folder. 3. If you wish to add the A-4KU as a flyable aircraft to the main campaign, follow the instructions included in the \Campaign_Edits. Eric Howes A-4KU_Updated.7z A-4KU_Updated.7z
  7. Stick: I used the old F-1CJ as a temporary stand-in for both the F-1CJ and the F-1EJ -- until we get a new F-1EJ from the team doing the new Mirage F-1s. Eric Howes

  14. Folks: After I uploaded the updated version of the Operation Desert Storm mod a few days ago, FRPignon notified me that he had an updated version of the F-1CR included in the mod. You can find an update package for the F-1CR here: http://combatace.com/topic/84679-ods-updated-f-1cr/ Thanks to FRPignon for supplying this new version of the F-1CR. Eric Howes
  15. Andrew: Then the update wasn't applied correctly. There is a special set of files for the later patch levels that use an A-6 model with the tanks built into the model. Those files are in the \2_Mar2012_Patch_Level of Part 1 of the update. The files that you have installed do not handle that newer model correctly -- that's why you're seeing those tanks even when they're not loaded. If you install the correct files for the later patch levels, the problem will be solved. Eric Howes
  16. Andrew: If you're seeing four drop tanks on the A-6 even when not loaded, then you haven't applied the update package available here: http://combatace.com/files/file/10466-sf2v-air-ground-war-expansion-pack-v20-sep-2014-update/ Eric Howes

  22. ricnunes: As BlueCaneCorso suggested, the fix is in the Update package. The problem isn't that the deck LOD statement is missing in the carrier's data.ini file; it's that it's in the wrong format. And, yes, the format does matter depending on whether you're using an install with or without SF2NA. The default install has the format incorrect in one instance (forget which, SF2NA or non-SF2NA). If you apply the Update correctly, the issue will be resolved. Eric Howes
  23. ForesakenOutlaw: Open the file FA-18C_94_AVIONICS.INI in Notepad (or some other plan text editor). Find the section titled RWR and replace it with this: [RWR] Type=TEWS AirSearchTexture=RWR_Unknown.tga AirTrackTexture=RWR_Unknown.tga AirLockTexture=RWR_Unknown.tga GroundSearchTexture=RWR_Unknown.tga GroundTrackTexture=RWR_Unknown.tga GroundLockTexture=RWR_Unknown.tga MissileActivityTexture=RWR_Missile.tga PriorityTexture=RWR_Priority.tga SearchSize=0.16 TrackSize=0.16 LockSize=0.16 SearchFlash=FALSE TrackFlash=FALSE LockFlash=TRUE LockFlashRate=0.1 TrackSound=RWRTrackSound.wav LockSound=RWRLockSound.wav FlashActivityOnLaunch=TRUE ThreatLibraryFile=FA-18C_94_RWR.LST Save your changes. That should take care of the problem. I'd post a replacement file, but for some reason I'm not being allowed to attach files to this post. Eric Howes
  24. Kyot: No offense taken. Like EricJ, I was simply trying to ensure that the mod didn't have some crucial numbers terribly wrong. FWIW, the OpDarius mod was recently refreshed -- lots of updates, corrections, and additions. Back to your regularly scheduled DACT programming... Eric Howes
  25. Kyot: As I said earlier, I just checked the numbers on those aircraft in OpDarius -- they are nowhere near what you remember them being. The F-22A is at 8200 kg precisely. The F-15E has 6103 kg internal plus 4518 kg CFTs for 10621 kg total. The F-15E numbers haven't changed since the original release. The F-22A numbers were higher in the original release but were corrected in Jan. 2013. As I said the Super Hornets are a little high -- around 8100-8200 kg -- and I will be adjusting them downwards, but again nowhere near the numbers you report seeing. As with the F-15E, those numbers haven't changed. And, yes, I checked both the numbers in the DATA.INI and the Hangar screen. Eric Howes
