  1. Final Frontier Podcast Episode 10

    Yeah the interview isn't too incredible sounding audio quality wise as my mic is crap. But I can't complain as it was a free gift from a friend who worked at Office Depot. So I had to get close to the mic and you can hear my breathe with is kinda lame. Anyhow the interview wasn't too bad I wish it were a bit longer. But the interview serves it purpose in that it lets people know what is going on. We have 3 takes as was explained in the podcast. However the first one was about a 40 to 45 min interview. To be honest I was the most pleased with it but obviously couldn't have a whole episde dedicated to any one topic. In any case it definately worth a listen.

    Thanks Acid for posting this. I posted about this episode in another thread and this saves me the time of posting the whole add. Much appreciate. The Starcraft 2 and the Battlestar Galactica Season 4 segments are quite good. This episode it better than most of theirs as I like their new format that makes the podcast flow much better. I would give it a listen as well as their their episodes which are all very good. This new format of theirs should really increase the quality of an already good show.
  3. TLG Update

    Just an update for you guys. Currently we are working on a 2.1 patch that will allow you to properly select your races in multiplayer and we are reworking balancing in all eras. We are also working on some new stuff for you guys for the next major release which will probably be 2.2 or 2.3. In the next few weeks we will have an interview online with Hailing Frequencies that explains our mod and where we are going with it. Give it a listen it should be informative and give people something to look forward to on or next major release.

  5. TLG 2.1 Update

    Ok folks there has been some delays in the 2.1 patch. It never fails and seems to be just part of making a patch. At the last minue a bunch of new features got tossed in so I can assure you that the wait will be worth it. We have got some new ships, balancing, MP Race Selection fixes, retextures of some ships, a updated UI, and a new scripted keys with a page in the options menu that is a key guide. This should be a good patch for you guys and we hope you enjoy it.

    Very cool stuff I like the texturing page. While I can port models for TLG I have no idea how to texture. I also like the concept Voyagers.
  7. Soon enough we are going to have a section of the forum for organizing game matches online. Some of the TLG team are playing the game online and it is pretty fun. Everyone is welcome to join and in the explosions and killing.

    Yeah 2.1 and 2.2 Patches we address a lot of balancing issues. I encourage TLG players to get online and join our Hamachi Server. We are on there and we do play so you can play with us and give us your opinion balancing issues etc as well as just have some fun blowing some stuff up.   9. TLG 2.0 Released!

    TLG v2.0 Released!!! Finally, at long last, The Legendary Generations Mod presents our latest release, v2.0! It's been a long time since our first release as TLG, and we've come a long way. We've added a lot to the mod, and made a lot of improvements. We've tested out all the major bugs, and most of the minor ones, rebalanced stats across all the eras, made some changes to the menu UI, added our new, completely reworked stat display system for the fleet selection menu to all ships, added new torpedo sprites, properly balanced both the ship destruction blast damage and radii and the ship repair rates, fixed the campaign so that you can now play it with our stats up through the TOS era (full campaign expected to be fully functional by our next major release), added some new, Canon and HIGH QUALITY sound effects to TOS and TMP (more to come in upcoming releases), and the crown jewel of this release: all new, Canon and HIGH QUALITY music for the menu and all races save the Borg. We're very proud of what we've accomplished with this release, and only wish we could add more (we were actually delayed a few days because we kept shooting ourselves in the foot, adding last-minute fixes and updates).     No that is not a problem Dagger just change the install directory in the installer when it asks where to install. Also me and Ilithi are testing MP out right now. There is a race selection bug but when it works it is amazing. We will get right on a patch to get MP fully functional.

  14. any updates from the mod teams?

    Just a quick update the release maybe postponed a little due to a version issue. Some of us are wanting to call this v.2 because of the numerous changes and that it is a standalone mod rather than a .1.1 update. If that is the case I need to change a couple of version numbers in the changelog and our graphics guy Madhouse will need to change the version number on the splash screen. But I swear folks we are really really close to a release. Today we got some screenshots created and some special ones just for you folks since you have been so kind to us. We really appreciate everything and look forward to you trying out the mod and giving us some feedback on it.

    The TLG team is nearly complete with our v.1.1 mod. We are currently getting some screenshots assembled for show and are compiling the install exe. By tonight I should have a copy to upload here, legacyfiles.com and of course or own site. This install by my estimates is around 260MB and that is with the music pack which will add music for every race in every era with the exception of the borg.
  16. TLG Mod gearing up for next release

    Just a little update for you guys we just released an internal build tonight of the TLG. It is amazing and only a couple minor things are being tweaked and a new feature or two is being added. I would guess that by Monday or Tuesday we should have something out to the public. This is a standalone installation of the mod. So you won't need any of the old files or installs just a fresh install of Legacy with the 1.2 patch. As well this mod is going to be huge. 260MB or there abouts though a few new features and files may take it over the 300 MB mark or pretty close. So be ready for a long download. Thanks to all and we hope you enjoy TLG when it comes out. Also feel free to give us any comments about our mod either on this forum or on our forum.

    Dagger thanks for the fine commnents. Just to let you know the best is yet to come from us at TLG. We are making some amazing progress and should have something really new for you guys to try out soon.

    Dagger we really appreciate the press you are giving us with this site. The more people who play it means the better we can make the mod with more opinions about what to change. On the news front we are working very hard on our next release which has a ton of new stuff. It I am very pleased with this release as it fixes a lot of bugs that we had in .1 and at this point our testers are not finding any crash bugs or anything else. So this release will be stable as heck and have new toys for all. This patch has been in development for a long time and goes back to a day or so after the release of v.1.
