I agree. White collar criminals too often do not get the sentence they really deserve. This guy did so hopefully white collar crime is starting to be taken with the seriousness it deserves and will make scumbags think twice about ripping off people of their life savings and ruining their lives.

I tend not to believe in ghosts but have had a couple of things happen that are hard to explain so leave my mind open to the idea that there is such a thing. Those ghost shows on TV are not the evidence I am looking for though because the people on those shows act scared just to hype up the viewing audience.

Yes, numerous times. Cracks me up every time I watch it. Wonder if MJ ever saw it and what he would have thought of it.

The plunge - have you taken it ?

Yea, it moves the mod folder to your user account location on Windows but there is an option to make the SF2 games use the root folder instead, which is what I did with SF2 WOV. Now when I uninstall games I have to go searching the user account folders because so many games put folders there too for save games, options etc. The problem is that the game developers have different ideas on which folder they should use in your user account folder section and I am finding game folders all over the place. Personally, I like the old Dos way of doing things. One game folder and no reg entries either. Want to uninstall a game, simple, just delete its root folder. There is no technical reason for games needing to use the registry. The only benefit it has is when you patch a game the patch can find the install location quickly by reading the registry. That can mess up some games too because they leave the old reg entries behind after uninstall. Re-install the game to a new location and now you have 2 locations for the game in the registry which can confuse the patch process and also cause the game not to run. I've seen people post with that issue numerous times on forums and is why I tell them to always re-install to the same location and folder name as they used previously. I'm not ragging on TK here, just that I am not a fan of this method of game folders in different locations and stating why. -

No, not me. I have SF2 WOV and the rest are the first versions (I have all of them) so no way I am going to delete all those good games. All of them work fine on Vista anyway with just a little tweak. -
Yo, check this out! Great speed boost!

It works with numerous older games but not all. There is a list somewhere but can't remember where. I think in the readme to the enbseries file it has a list of known games it works with but that doesn't mean that is the only games it works with. -

Well, you know what they say, "if seems too good to be true, it probably is". I have had this HDR plugin downloaded for al ong time but never got around to trying it out in any of my games. I know it works in games to give you a sort of pseudo HDR look but I don't like the contrasty HDR look much anyway and is why I have never checked it out. If it increases frame rates too though then I definately will now. Thanks to op for link. -

BTW, by looking through the photos at that site I came across an old photo of a female Russian sniper and would never have know of her otherwise. Her life story could make a great movie. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roza_Yegorovna_Shanina

Israel is not missing. http://www.miliwoman.com/Israel/ I certainly wasn't looking for photos of women in uniform when I stumbled upon that url. Think I was looking for high quality photos of Alizee when I found it and I certainly don 't jerk off to photos of women fully clothed anyway. Without clothes, I ain't saying either. ;)

I only ever saw the first 1/2 hour of the first SAW movie and it didn't impress me so have never bothered with any of the others.

Rock, Paper, Shotgun reviews Fighter Squadron: WWI
PinkPanther replied to ArgonV's topic in WWI Flight Sim Discussion
I have SD and once tried to get this mod working but had major grief with video drivers at the time (ATI). If it's a one click installer now maybe I will give it another shot on my XP/Nvidia system. One thing I never liked about SD was the small game world. Has this been expanded in the WWI mod? -

They are myopic to put in such a DRM scheme. I'm betting they have reduced their potential sales considerably by doing this. Internet connections are unreliable so I can't trust their servers to always be up (especially considering they are in Russia), or my connection at my end either. Is RoF just scripted missions or is there a dynamic campaign system? Sounds to me like it is just scripted missions. Well...I want the game still and am hoping this server connection requirement is a misunderstanding or only applies to download Russian version. I will wait and see how the disk version works and keep my fingers crossed it is a more acceptable method of DRM. -
Thanks!

Green Hell2 mod issue
PinkPanther posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
SF2:V with Green Hell2 mod is causing the below issues with water rendering. ATI 4870 CAT 9.5 on Vista64. Anyone know a fix for it or which files to remove from the mod so that it uses default water textures? -

OK, great, that fixed the water rendering issues I was seeing. I still see some land tiles that display as white in the far distance though. -
360 is multi-core processor with 3 cores. PS3 processor is a completely different animal and is a cell processor with 8 cells. A cell is not the same as a core.

Green Hell2 mod issue
PinkPanther replied to PinkPanther's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
In my defense I did try to fix it myself by swapping various files and changing lines in the VIETNAMSEA_data.ini but all to no avail. Thanks for the link to the fix. -

It's from one of those TV Western shows from the '60s but can't pin point which one. Definitely not Rawhide. This is Big Country. Similar but not sure if it is the same. Big Valley theme song? Yep, thinks that's it or it could be an original song made to sound similar.
