  1. It's unzipping just fine for me, Stary. I have 7zip 4.65. Spectacular work!
  2. Wrong B**ch

    Awesome! Love it.
  3. Here's a set of FMs converted for SF2 for fighters over France 1942. FMs only and the occasional sound. Assumes you already have ww2 weapons and pilots. Aircraft included: Wolf's Fw-190A4 Wolf's Fw-190F8 Wolf's Bf-109F4 Spitfire Mk Vb (mod of TW Spitfire 9c) Spitfire Mk Vb Clipped Wing (mod of TW Spitfire 9e) France42.zip Happy Hunting.
  4. I like the "little airplanes the could", the overachievers that didn't get the glitz and glamor of the premier airplanes, but somehow made it into many theaters of battle and succeeded. So I like the P-36, P-39, P-40, and Hurricane. Currently, I'm fiddling a lot with the Mc.202 and Cr.32 from WoA. They're both beautifully modeled and skinned. I've always liked these planes IRL anyway.
  5. Well, let's cover all the bases. First, in your loadout.ini do you have an entry like this: [AirToAir] Loadout[01].WeaponType=Tank_f86 Loadout[01].Quantity=1 Loadout[02].WeaponType=Tank_f86 Loadout[02].Quantity=1 Loadout[05].WeaponType=AIM-9B Loadout[05].Quantity=1 Loadout[06].WeaponType=AIM-9B Loadout[06].Quantity=1 In your weapons folder, be sure there's a weapon in there for each weapon type and the name must be exactly the same. So in my case I must have a weapon named "Tank_f86" and one named "AIM-9B" Then, in your <aircraft>_data.ini file go to the Weapon Stations section. You should have an entry like this: [sidewinderStation5] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=05 StationGroupID=2 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-1.50,2.40,-1.10 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 LoadLimit=72 AllowedWeaponClass=IRM<--This must include "IRM" in the list of weapon classes AttachmentType=NATO,USAF<--To carry sidewinders you'll have to have "NATO" or "USAF" in the list. ModelNodeName=left_rail PylonMass=45.0 PylonDragArea=0.04 If all that looks good, we'll have to continue and look for other issues.

  17. How to get by on Social Security Alone

I think it's brilliant! We should do that. Optionally, we could just contract out our prisons to the Russians. They would appreciate the extra money and our prisoners would get the best "prison care" to be had in the world...ahem.
  18. I've been working With Wolf's Bf-109F and struggling with one odd problem. It skitters / veers to the side at low speed during landing and take-off. This is flying manually, by the way. I've poured over the data.ini file looking for unequal values. It's been driving me crazy! And then, just now, I saw this... It seems this is the problem. One leg is too long. Anyway to fix this?
  19. Finally got this as near to acceptable as I can. It's still a bit squirrelly, but the BF-109 was like that in real life. I thought had to set the values unevenly to make the plane rest evenly. That worked but take-of and landing were still uncontrolled. Eventually, I found settings that could be equal on both sides and also correct the extra long right landing gear. Here are the old and new settings. ORIGINAL [LeftMainGear] ShockStroke=0.20 SpringFactor=2.0 DampingFactor=2.0 RollingRadius=0.292 [RightMainGear] ShockStroke=0.20 SpringFactor=2.0 DampingFactor=2.0 RollingRadius=0.292 Even though the values are equal, this produced a right gear that was too long and uncontrolled handling on the ground above 40Kts. So I looked up Migbuster's guide to correct the right gear. No matter how much I adjusted the rolling radius it wouldn't move the wheel "out of" the tarmac until I adjusted the shock stroke to a very low value. Incidentally, you shouldn't adjust shock value below 0.01. The plane and the AIs will just flip over and blow up. Eventually, adjusting the shock stroke to the same low value AND the rolling radius to the same lower value got the result I wanted with balanced values. Here's the new settings. MODDED [LeftMainGear] ShockStroke=0.02 SpringFactor=2.0 DampingFactor=1.0 RollingRadius=0.279 [RightMainGear] ShockStroke=0.02 SpringFactor=2.0 DampingFactor=1.0 RollingRadius=0.279 This is still not perfect. Spring factor adjustments help, but unequal ones cause spontaneous bouncing in one direction. So prefer to keep them at the original setting. The plane still veers a bit, but at least it's controllable with rudder adjustments. The AI are able to take off normally.
  20. Thanks fellas. This is helping. Both sides were (originally) exactly the same. I have to set them unevenly to get the plane balanced. Very strange, but oh well. Now it's a matter of fine-tuning.
