Yup, all these years later it's still funny.

Answers my question, thanks.

Eric, I have another question. In the event of a scenario like this, would Turkey and Greece have gotten involved? I've never really understood their role in NATO's defensive structure.
-
That looks really good!
-
Awesome. I'll be sure to download that too.

Eric, quick question; nothing in this will clash with the North Cape expansion will it?
-
A long desired aircraft in the series. Thanks!

Gotcha. I'll check it out tomorrow.

Anyone tried that out? US Army AH-64Ds that were in Afghanistan didn't carry their Longbow radar and I'd like to replicate that.
-
Did my part. You guys have provided more entertainment than real life does at times. Every little bit helps, right?
-
Are they still worth it? I know Wrench recently did a good restoration of them to SF2 standards, so that swings the question towards the flavor of yes. They're the only Banshees out there right? No one has the type as a WIP? I'd just like to hear some people's thoughts on the aircraft before I spend the $15.00 on them.

Though I'd be lying if I said I won't try this campaign from the Danish perspective too and attempt to disassemble the IKEA Empire's fleet.

Truxton's got a huge mast and radar array!
Why don't we have any nuclear powered surface warfare ships today?
-
I figured you had included them, I was just curious about what changes you made from the regular -29s. It's been years but I'm finally getting back into studying WWII; starting with reading up on Superforts and the Manhattan Project yesterday.
I thought we had a Fat Man model. Or maybe it was a Mark 4?
-
Will Silverplate aircraft be included?
I'd go with the second option if I were you. Much easier for you and simple enough for the end user too.
-
Do we have any insurgent infantry objects? I know we've got technicals and Taliban AAA, but my OEF install is missing Taliban foot soldiers.
EDIT: Disregard. Found them in the SF1 Afghanistan terrain pack.
-
Hangar as the target it is then.
-
no guarantee at all. the game engine generates parked aircraft completely randomly, and never where you expect them. they're also generated by the terrain's nations ini, if LimitedNations is set to TRUE, and by the parking allotments in each airfield ini
you cannot target parked aircraft because of this, only 'terrain objects'.
That's a shame. I guess I'll have to have the end user use their imagination to pretend the aircraft are in the hangar. Unless I could set up the aircraft as a ground object like parked aircraft in SF1 were? Those were able to be targeted right?
-
Is there anyway to guarantee that aircraft will show up on the flightline in an edited mission? For instance, say I wanted to replicate a mission from Desert Storm/Southern Watch/OIF where Iraqi aircraft parked in hardened shelters were hit with precision weapons. Or am I better off just using a hangar as the target and hoping some aircraft will show up on that base's flightline when I or the end user fly the mission?

Happy birthday!

MS Paint? didn't know that was even still around!!!
Yeah, aside from being mediocre, there's a reason I don't skin and it's MS Paint.

An hour and MS Paint and I'llt be able to crudely pull this off, with a map key too.
Neutral terrain areas

How do they work? Say, for instance, I wanted to make Kuwait neutral on the Desert Storm terrain. Can I set it neutral in the terrain's data files without going through every individual target in Kuwait? Also, do said targets show up still and not engage targets or do they disappear? Or does all of that really only work in campaigns? Trying to make a 1992-2003 terrain for OSW and Desert Fox like missions.
