  1. LOL! Spectre it is actually an IIAF website (Pre revolution) , when they were our friends, they feel pride in their airmen but they do not back the current regime. It is actually a cool site for pictures and info all things combat jets. They also contributed info on the Iran iraq campaign (information).
  2. Well I think the Med for sure (North Africa begs to be done right). Here is what Oleg himself said about it in a post: Oleg_Maddox VIP posted Fri April 15 2005 00:43 quote:Originally posted by RAF56_BTB: Does anybody know if Oleg will create other campaigns that will merge with BOB? Such as an all new Russian front Perhaps? BTB unquote [Oleg:] This is my general plan: BoB, then after BoB Africa then something new (don't know yet) We will use successfull attempt with PF... 1) Releasing BoB. 2. Released Africa as stand alon and with possibility to merge with BoB. 3. releasing new stand alone theater say X, with the possibility to merge with BoB + Africa + X 4. etc. Including European, Russian front and Pacific, but before will be several titles. Finally we will get even more than in Il-2 series amount, quality, etc.. Such method will help me to be alive for a long time. You know that currently we are almost alone on the market... niche is too small. But I dislike to go on consoles and name it simulators..

  7. Now available at www.combatace.com (IL2 Campaign/Mission section) The ?MK2? patch will contain the following below. Some of it fixes historical inaccuracies and others contain more flexibility (even if not particularly historical, as an example, you may now fly the P-38J in new Guinea, a bit earlier than history dictated but still with in flexible limits of reality?we?re talking 5 months earlier people?same planes opposed it). Added P-38J USAAF land based career to the New Guinea campaign (semi historical, a bit early, not by much) Added F-4U Corsair land based career to the Guadacanal campaign (a bit earlier but most same planes in the air) Added Ki-61 Tony Career to the New Guinea campaign (semi historical, a bit early, not by much) Added F65F Navy Career to the Marianas (historical) Added ki-61 Tony career to the JAAF in Tarawa (not historical) Enjoy!
