After doing reasearch I believe that NO 74 Squadron below would be the perfect unit to add to the Vietnam 1984 campaign. This unit will be carrier based. November 1984 - No 74 Squadron reforms at Wattisham with the delivery of the first of the F4J Phantoms, given the RAF designation Phantom F3. The new fighter Phantoms are ex-US Navy aircraft de singed to fill the gap in the UK Air Defence capability, created by the need to provide full time cover on the Falklands, until the full deployment of the Tornado F3. This campaign activates the Chinese, Cuban and North Korean Air forces for Wings over Vietnam. It will allow you to fly a MIg-17F for the North Koreans , A Mig-19S for the Chinese and a Mig21MF for the Cuban Air Force. It has fully functional squadrons, load outs, historical experience, pilot’s names as well as campaign briefings. It includes files that will activate the correct markings for all air forces. It is based on secretly deployed Soviet personnel and equipment during the Vietnam War .It will allow you to fly a MIg-19S during Rolling Thunder or a MIg21MF during operation Linebacker two. It has fully functional squadrons, load outs, historical experience and Soviet pilots as well as Soviet briefings. It also includes files to make the Mig-19S and the Mig-21MF flyable (if needed). It is a follow up to North Vietnam Mig Aces.
