Be my guest...(you really didn't have to ask). Also, as stated in the readme it is a "what-if" so I made the squadron VF-84. -

Other F-111 Projects Left to Do

The B is ugly, but ugly in a nice way. I think it has a certain charm and the more I see of it, the more I like it. -
Gordon's alive...! I liked that Flash Gordon movie too. Apart from that scene where he does his quarterback thing and Dale Arden's going " Go Flash, Go Flash" that part makes me cringe.

Ha ! Keep your eyes outside the cockpit mister and your hand on the stick. See, I can keep this reasonably aviation related !

I'm 5'2" and weigh 7 stones (112lb) so according to that link I'm ok. My weight stays about the same, give or take a couple of pounds. Regular exercise plus I always run up stairs, never walk. I don't especially eat that healthily per se, just sensibly...though I cannot say no to Fish & Chips. Ever. Must be in my gene's too because my Mum is the same, she's got a great figure. I'll be happy if I look as good as her in twenty years.

Yep. I take great care of mine. Tends to come in handy

Everthing on hard except blackouts...I leave this on easy. Targetting is difficult but makes a success much more memorable. My 2p worth... -

Got a '29 on my last last op...flying the Jaguar, day two of the war. After egressing utra low-level after a successful strike on an ammo bunker. RWR going crazy as the he came in on my port side high. Turned into him and got him with a head-on winder shot. Crazy Sob was throwing out flares like a man possessed...how dumb did he think my Sidewinders were ? -

Oh yes I do like that one ! -
I've noticed on some pics of aircraft (mainly fighters) that in addition to the usual tail code letters the squadron ID is also displayed instead of the a\c serial number ?

Sorry guys it's all my fault, but strangely I didn't get any transparency when doing the decals or in testing and I'm still using the original decal.ini's:- All I got was some decal bleed from the mesh, that's why there's no eject warning marker for the radar op's position. Not to worry if the transparency problem has been fixed then, that's ok....cheers Crab. -

Cool...Baghdad Bob in the mother of all battles! -
Well for me it has to be B5. I never get tired of that. What I wouldn't do to wear an Earthforce uniform. The best thing about Space1999 was the Eagles. I like UFO too, very kitsch and 1970's. I really like the look. New BSG is good for me, I like all Star Trek apart from DS9 which I thought was total poop. Star Wars...brilliant apart from that JarJar Binks thing (what were they thinking?). I liked Space: Above and Beyond, thought that was really cool. Never really watched Serenity though I've heard great things about it. Red Dwarf is excellent, I also loved Hyperdrive too.

I used to visit the site as a non-member for a while, reading and picking up bits of info along the way. Then I plucked up the courage to join and apart having my ears burn for a few weeks and the occaisional run-in from the odd uber idiot I haven't looked back. You can take a lot from this community but the best part is giving it back, so if you haven't already, please think about subscribing.

It may be the RAF texture folder that's causing it - it shouldn't be in the download ! Just don't use that one til Veltro uploads a newer version. Thanks. -
Thanks for he replies guys ! FC: That was exactly the answer I was looking for, cheers.

I probably didn't phrase my question properly, what I meant to ask was, is there a set standard for what is displayed (serial number or squadron ID) or does it vary from unit to unit, or even a\c to a\c within units ? I have noticed that the last-four of the serial is also displayed in small numerals on the nose too.
