  1. Excellent, thanks Kevin. "If it ain't been wrenched, it ain't worth wrenchin'..." I fear my lazyness caused some of that work you did, so sorry and thanks again !
  2. Oh, the indignity!

All that fuss about such a little thing...oh, ok, it was cold
  3. Almost as good as a kneeslide at a wedding do !
  4. Take a look here http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=35067 It's a sticky and should give you a few, though not all, insights. Or look here http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB/viewforum.p...2069caa2ca05dc6 Arrghh...Migbuster beat me to it. All that xmas excess you know !
  5. Depending on which install and what mods I have, I get a regular 20 - 60 fps. Vanilla SF2 I get 30+ just about all maxed out, mirrors on etc except horizon near (I keep horizon near on all my installs). As long as your fps doesn't drop below the 20 mark things should look smooth anyway, in WOV over the Big H in campaign sometimes it'll drop to around 15 with all the SAM's, flak etc but still doesn't seem too bad. It's horses for courses, some people will be happy enough at 15 fps others will moan at less than 30 (though I did read somewhere that you cannot really tell the difference between 25 and anything higher all things being equal - no stutter etc - but don't take me to task on that, maybe some people can). I don't like to sacrifice eye candy if I can help it. Each to their own.
  6. Cockpits...

    Now that is nice !

  9. Can't leave out those down under...
  10. Thanks for volunteering Viper !
  11. I have BOB & WW2 terrain and have flown the Hudson antiship missions. The target is usually Lorient and I think it's actually off the map. It loads ok here but if I try to ALT-N to target IP I get a CTD. However, I can fly there normally no problem...til I hit "the wall" !
  12. The Person Below Me

False. I'm not really into anime, apart from Dragonball Z which I liked. ------------------------------------------------------------------ The person below me has never complained
  13. TU-95 Bear Intercept

Cool. You can never get enough of these kind of anecdotes in my book.
  14. Ring efter politiet! ét sprog er aldrig nok ! -------------------------- Min svävare är full med ålar
  15. "The flak and fighters I can take...you know, I'm ready. But it's the waiting to go that's the real killer. Sitting here strapped in, sweltering under that cruel desert sun. Come on Ops, fire the damn flare..." Thanks Alfie for inspiring me to take the Hunter back up.
  16. Top notch and spot on as always, thanks
  17. There's definately an eel cover-up here...I'm on the staff and I still don't know what it's all about. Maybe better not to know...
  18. A-29 British style camo with meatball insignia. I don't think I've got the correct number of red stripes but I'll rectify that as soon as I've had some bloody sleep, it's nearly 05:00 and I'm well tired.
  19. USN version. Think that makes five different skins for the Hudson when it's released. I'll be sending these to Veltro as soon as I get everything sorted & packaged.
  20. USAAF olive drab...with a USN version in the works too for you over the Pond types
  21. Desert Hudson...Midstone\Dark Earth over Azure blue.
  22. Well according to my sources the colour is correct for dark earth...but it does look too light doesn't it ! Anyway, things being as they were in 1940 a lot of early lend-lease a/c were supplied in slightly off colour schemes, also things like hyphenated serials or in the wrong font and/or size. I'm pretty happy with it the way it is so we'll put it down to one of these errors
