Some sounds don't work
warthog64 replied to warthog64's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Thanks guys -
I can't seem to get this to work at all. I'm using it in WOE, and it is installed to the root directory. However when I open the editor it tells me to specify a location, which I'm not sure how to do? I've followed the tools/options/installation.... many times but every time I select my WOE root install it does nothing. In the first box on the Installations page where it says the directory that the mission editor seems to be installed, this box is always blank! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help is appreciated

Targets submerged into the ground?

Open VIETNAMSEA_data.ini and scroll down until you see this..... [Texture001] Filename=vietnamS1.TGA HasWater=1 HeightMap=vietnamS1_hm.BMP HeightMapScale=3.000000------- This number could be anything! Color=0.114571,0.204605,0.305404 SolidObjectTexture= AlphaObjectTexture= Change whatever the number in the "HeightMapScale=" is to "0" Do this for all [Texturexxx] entries! An easy way if you use notepad (should be notepad by default), is to select edit, then replace, then type or copy "HeightMapScale=x.xxxxxxxxx" line into both boxes, and change the number in the bottom box to "0". Then select "Replace All" This worked for me, I hope it works for you -
For some reason whenever I visit the site, and then log in I get an error message saying the database is down, and I must refresh the page. However nothing works. I can acces the forum, download sections etc as long as I enter the site anywhere except the homepage for example I can google a forum topic and select the link and enter fine. Not sure what's going on, any help is appreciated. Thanks

Works fine on classic skin! However I notice now that all the images I've posted are no longer in the gallery tab on my profile page, not a big problem but just thought I'd mention. Thanks -

I can access the homepage now, but everytime I try to access the downloads section now I see this Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /var/www/vhosts/combatace.com/httpdocs/cache/skin_cache/cacheid_27/skin_downloads.php on line 1076 Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /var/www/vhosts/combatace.com/httpdocs/cache/skin_cache/cacheid_27/skin_downloads.php on line 1298 Fatal error: Call to undefined method skin_downloads_27::quickReplyBox() in /var/www/vhosts/combatace.com/httpdocs/cache/skin_cache/cacheid_27/skin_downloads.php on line 1310 I havn't seen this before, and I was just wondering if this is normal due to the reason Dave explained. Thanks -

Strange aircraft flight maneuvers
warthog64 posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I'm sure this is an old question, but I was unable to find an aswer by searching the forum. Anyway several aircraft in my WOE installation, all addon by the way have a certain issue. Aircraft such as the Bf-109G10 and Mig-29A by TMF will have the tendancy to fly at very low speeds and pitch up and down the entire time they are flying. And yes this only happens when they are not the aircraft I'm flying but rather the enemy or another friendly flight. I do currently have my flight control/model set to Easy, not sure if that has anything to do with it though. Thanks -
