  1. I seem to remember in the past that I saw an MB-339 available for Gen1 sims somewhere. Is this right? Thanks Oh just found it, I guess I looked past it. Thanks
  2. When I first installed WOI two years ago I made sure I extracted and moved all the parts of each aircraft into my main merged install folder (WOE/Objects/aircraft/type). So all the parts of the f-16A Netz are currently together. I'm not sure what is preventing it from working correctly? I believe all the necessary files are there, but could the fact I'm using WOE as the base folder be an issue? Thanks
  3. Well I guess I spoke too soon. The HUD worked fine in WOI once installed, however I moved the aircraft to my merged install of WOE WOI and WOV and it has stopped working again. This is what I did two years ago when I first got WOI, could something in a merged install cause this to happen? Thanks again
  4. Yeah you're right, I just tried it and it worked. Thanks again
  5. I have not tried that yet, thanks for the suggestion. I'll follow up asap Thanks for your help
  6. You're right, what I meant was that while it was on 70 from the start it wasn't working to begin with so I changed it bact and forth twice just to se what it would do. Sorry for not being clearer on that. But to answer your question it is the WOI version and not the Mirage Factory one.
  7. I'm not sure why it's happening but it can't seem to be fixed. Thanks for your help though
  8. Dayton Air Show 2010

These are great photos Dave! The shots of the F-16 and F/A-18 are incredible. The Dayton Airshow is always amazing, even when the weather is bad they still do a lot of flying. Truly a great American Airshow! Were you there in 2005 when they had the F-117 on display? They let people get closer to the F-22 than they did the F-117!
  9. Just wondering if there is a model of this great ship available anywhere. Thanks
  10. This happens mainly with the Mirage Factory F-15A. It doesn't happen all the time, but every now and then the aircraft will just catch on fire. Any suggestions? Thanks
  11. Hey everyone thanks for your help, I just noticed that the NAfrica/Western Desert terrain has the Belfast as a target. However there is no lod or file of the ship so it just appears as nothing. I could be wrong and may have just set it up wrong (the reason it's not showing up) but I did not see it as part of the terrain package. However it must be somewhere I guess Thanks again
  12. Thanks everyone, I guess it might just be the afterburner
  13. I really don't know, there's not any one thing I can think of that would be causing this. I'll be in afterburner for normal periods of time (maybe sometimes a little too much, but nothing bad). I really never know what causes it, it's just the strangest thing!
  14. Incredible Job! Thanks again
  15. B-1 retirement?

The USAF has been saying this off and on I believe for at least 10 years. In 2001/2002 Rumsfeld stated that this was a possibility, and in the end 33 were retired which allowed the remaining 60 and later 67 aircraft to emerge as one of the most capable, reliable, and effective weapons ever. It was 17 years after enetering service that the bone really came into its own, and this was after reducing the fleet by 1/3! As far as this news goes I have no idea what it means, but the B-1B is the most valuable bomber in service today and I hope no one in the USAF or congress is considering retiring this great aircraft. In the past 8 years the B-1B has been the main CAS weapon in Afghanistan saving hundreds if not thousands of lives, and no other platform in existance can perform it's role in Southwest Asia like it has. In recent years all I have heard is how successful the B-1B has been in Afghanistan and Iraq, in fact I think I even read in Osprey's B-1 units in combat that the RAF has been so impressed with the performance of the B-1B that it plans to reaquire heavy long range bombers in the near future! So I hope this story is not true, in fact it makes no sense to me!
  16. I was able to get the AGM-158 from SF2 working in WOE, except for one thing the skin of the weapon. I know all the differences between 1st and 2nd generation weapons but is there any way I could get this to work? Not a big deal though if there isn't a way Thanks
  17. Libya - Ver 3.75

    Great terrain wrench!
  18. I recently got a new computer to replace my previous one which had a motherboard failure. Anyway the screen is very different compared to my former computer when playing WOE. I use Catalyst Control Center with the game and everything looks fine except everything looks shortened and flatter when viewed in the verticle and longer for the horizontal. I did not have this issue with my former computer yet all of the settings were the same; also the sytem specs were very similar. Here are some screen shots for an idea of what I mean. My previous computer did not distort the game like this one does, and since I'm not a graphics/computer expert by any means does anyone have an idea what causes this and how to fix it? Right now I'm using a standard 4:3 setting for the game as the 16:9 one seems to make everything shortened no matter what direction (I used the same settings with my old computer). Thanks for any help my new computer specs are VISION Technology by AMD Featuring AMD Turion II dual-core mobile processor M500 2.2GHz 16" TFT-LCD widescreen HD TruBrite® Display / ATI Radeon 4200 graphics 4GB DDR2 Memory / 320GB Hard Drive / DVD SuperMulti with Labelflash Built-in webcam with microphone / Built-in 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64-bit
  19. The screen resolution is 1366x768 and the game is set to the same resolution already, not sure why it's not working? Also when you say jacking what exactly do you mean? Thanks for your help!
  20. F-104S Mod Pack

    Awesome!
  21. Air power in 'Nam

Very interesting, I had no idea they were employed even that often!
