SF2E/V Effects
warthog64 replied to warthog64's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I made the effects folder but I'm not sure which files go in there, as I don't see anything similar to what is in my WOE effects folder. -

German Opel Truck
warthog64 posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
For some reason I have never been able to get the german opel truck or blitzopen (part of Geo's WWII groundobject's pack) to appear in WOE. It's a lod problem because the vehicle is there as a target, but will not show up. It's not that important or serious, but I'm just curious how to make it work finally. Thanks -

Terrain question
warthog64 replied to warthog64's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
It's actually a merged WOV WOE install, not sure if that matters. But here's what it includes (VietnamSEA terrain, Black VN_Repainted_BMPs, and Deuces Vietnam repaint) Thanks -

In the WW2 Europe terrain for some reason no Airfield structures show. The Runway, and Tarmac are all there but no hangars, fuel tanks, or vehicles. Any suggestions Thanks -

SF2 Proper Setup
warthog64 posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Well after several attempts at setting up SF2V, and finally giving up I'm going to try it again. Anyway I'm wondering what the proper format for setting up a SF2V install is. Last time I tried a full install I modeled SF2V after WOE, and shortly after getting all the files in to their assigned folders, the game crashed, and wouldn't even startup! Is there a certain way to setup all the files in a certain folder, or is the proper way just to leave all the extracted files in their CATPAK folders. Thanks -

Well after reading all the instructions, I tried a reinstall of SF2V, and SF2E just to start everything with a new install. However now in the Users/Saved Games folder there are no files! What should I do? Thanks -

For some reason targets such as Headquarter Buildings, and comm buildings aren't showing up. I'm assuming it's a LOD file problem, but any suggestions? Thanks
