Hi All , Well its sad when any of the armed forces die , wether it be Iraq , Afghanistan or any other trouble spot in the world . Im amazed that at his age he was able to be a front line soldier ....but was able and did . He must have been an incredible man , and i have a lot of respect for him i just wish things would have turned out different for him and all the other service men and women that have fell . My heart goes out to his family and friends and all the people that have lost a friend , Partner or family member . these are speacial people who give their all and its not always realised by the general public . I know these words wont take the pain anyway for the people left behind , nothing i could say or anyone else can , but i'd like them to know there lots of people out there that are thinking of them and their kin . Hi All , I found combat Ace through a search on the internet when looking for addons for Wings over Europe , i visited many sites and found some good ones but this site is the main site i re-visit . Not only does it have the best selection of everything you could want , but it has forums and a whole community . Some of the stories from memebers are great , and not all about third wire stuff but general life stuff . To one and all thank you for this great website , not only to the web designers and modders who all do a great job but to the members to . Mungo

Finally a bit of news that doesnt involve death , so glad to hear every ones well . I think the pilot and crew deserve a medal as do the passengers that didnt panick and kept their heads . The skill of the pilots to bring that plane down on the water with out it braking up shows great skill , and that A320's can not only fly but float as well ...........thats one expensive yacht lol

Yes i agree 37 years is excessive for what he did , he didnt kill anyone . Murderers do get less yrs for their sentences , maybe the the guys door he sawed through was a judge !!!!! . Mad thing to do though ..........i'd have sawed the car in half instead lol...... hhhmmmmm

Very funny story , i loved it . I think there is a lesson for life in there some where , but i dont think it's in the face of adversity throw dog poo lol . You must have felt like David and Goliath . Even better when the border ranger put dirt up the muzzle of the tanks gun . You think maybe the tank commander got a talking to when he got back . Good shot though bet the inside of the Abrahams smelt nice on the way home lol good job i'd have promoted you . And as for the Hind ive seen them for real to and they scared the poo out of me , doubt i'd have stopped to pick it up to throw back at the hind though

Nice one Bobrock , Possibly not the best fighter in the world as said many times in this post but it served the RAF well until the Typhoon came in production . And like alot of people say it looks mean and in the hands of RAF pilots no doubt was a very dangerous aircraft to come up against . Your model looks superb and i cant wait to try it out , keep up the good work mate all the best Nathan

Hi All , Yes its mad how much the military have some stupid rules , when i was in the armed forces we were told to merge with the local populance ......dont stick out . However we still stuck out as certain hair styles were not allowed and slightly different but still along the same lines of merge with the local populance . I used to live of camp and so had to come to work in civilian clothes , but obviously had my uniform in my locker at work , this was because of the threat of the IRA at the time . However it was decided that we would have to wear uniform to work but to make it less obvious wear a jacket over the top of it !!! . Which was great in winter but in summer i was that weirdo wearing a jacket on a hot day all red faced and sweating like a suicide bomber !!!! military madness lol Nathan

Well i guess its the same the world over pen pushers are getting the top jobs all the time , while your war time nut job who is heroic in war time is just a problem child now ........these sort of people never get to shine in peace time as they dont kiss ass , however come the next major war ( thats not political ) these people's conduct heroiusm speaks for its self .......mean time we put up with the pen pushers
