  1. Thank you Volker! She's absolutely magnificent, I just love flying 500+ knots on the deck.
  2. This might help: From this page, more details there. http://ultra.glo.be/daco/KDCC4802.html
  3. You can specify a default loadout per nation in the loadout.ini. I believe this was added recently, though I'm not sure. Just as a quick example. [RNLAF_AirToAir] Nation=Netherlands DefaultFor=CAP,INTERCEPT,ESCORT Loadout[03].WeaponType=Tank100_Hunter Loadout[03].Quantity=1 Loadout[04].WeaponType=Tank100_Hunter Loadout[04].Quantity=1
  4. Apparently you can also make nation specific loadouts. From the CF-104_72 [RDAF_Attack] Nation=Denmark DefaultFor=CAS,ARMED_RECON Loadout[01].WeaponType=Tank170_F104 Loadout[01].Quantity=1 Loadout[02].WeaponType=Tank170_F104 Loadout[02].Quantity=1 Loadout[03].WeaponType=Matra-155 Loadout[03].Quantity=1 Loadout[04].WeaponType=Matra-155 Loadout[04].Quantity=1 Loadout[06].WeaponType=AIM-9B Loadout[06].Quantity=1 Loadout[07].WeaponType=AIM-9B Loadout[07].Quantity=1
  5. Better use this one: http://combatace.com/files/file/11076-mirage-factory-f-14a-and-f-14b-tomcat/ Much higher quality, and SF2 ready.
  6. Old Dinnerjacket is being mad again...

Not a bad idea, we could use a lot of rain here. It's really dry so far this year.
  7. Nice work! I believe the markings on the tail are: SP-2H airframe number You can find some pics in this thread (unfortunately in Dutch). http://milspotters.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=4105
  8. HOLY s**t!

    Happy birthday!
  9. And a retractable refuel probe for the earliest S1 airframes. But seriously, I underdstand it's a lot of extra work, and they weren't in service that long. I just like the looks of the smaller round intakes. But I'm really looking forward to the S2, if it's too much work to do the S1 then so be it. PS for those who want something to read during the wait, here a great technical article from the april 1963 flight international magazine on the Bucc (with a wonderful cut-away). http://www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/view/1963/1963%20-%200489.html
  10. That is an impressive list of variants. Any chance for a future Buccaneer S.1 model? In my opinion the best looking variant, especially in anti-flash white.
  11. WARNING! Silly question

That is true for SA-2 set to half-lead guidance. See this page from the Sam Simulator manual. BTW The Sam Simulator is highly recommended, it's free and very detailed. See http://sites.google.com/site/samsimulator1972/home
  12. GIMP needs a plugin to work with .dds. See here:http://code.google.com/p/gimp-dds/
  13. No, other way round. He was shot in the face by a drunk "friend".
  14. Awesome release! Just curious, what's the difference between the non-exp2 and exp2 cockpits, as I don't have exp2 yet?
  15. Took an F-4J loaded with AIM-9Gs in 1972 against MiG-17s. 1 Used boresight to attain a lock on a MiG in a slight banking turn 2 Selected the AIM-9G 3 Fired before the tone changed 4 The sidewinder went straight ahead not aqcuiring the target Perhaps I should wait a bit longer at step 3, I'll try that now. Would be extremely cool to get this to work.
  16. I can't get it to work, but I don't have the expansion packs. I suppose it was added in the Lightning add-on? Or should it also work without the packs?
  17. AV-8A Harriers seemed to have had the capabilties according to Killerbee (see http://combatace.com/topic/42487-harriers-roadrunner-method/page__p__301914__hl__seam+harrier__fromsearch__1?do=findComment&comment=301914) Don't know how it would work without a radar, as the Harrier doesn't have one.
  18. Thank you, that did the trick. Although I managed to get into a inverted flat spin at 120,000 feet on the next flight.
  19. Great work, a truly fun aircraft to fly! Will 155184 ft do? Check the screenshot thread.
  20. 93,000 Feet and climbing. A new record. PS Does anyone know why the camera positions all become strange at 115K feet? You lose the cockpit for example.
