what happened to this aircraft? I cant find it!

Just saying hello, and what a great site this is!!! Still cant give up Thirdwire. Been using it for 6 years now. I just cant find a suitable replacement. Im Leaving Eielson next summer, and im not sure if I will still be in the Air Force or not. I have to decide soon. 13.5 years will be hard to walk away from. Anyone here ever been stationed at Seymore Johnson?? Thats where im looking at goin. Either there or Mountain Home again.....

If you have a thin skin, DO NOT be a fighter crew chief LOL. I had ten years on F-15E's at Elmendorf and Mountain Home, and now I am about to hit my 13 year mark. Unfortunately, I am on the inferior F-16 at Eielson as the Phase Dock Chief. Aircraft Maintenance is a very gratifying job, but it can be very hard work, with alot of long hours. But there are alot of other great jobs, just not the kind that make you perfect like being an F-15 crew chief does :)

I got it to work it was in the gun data file thanks. And as far as I have read, all versions except for the M have it, but they no longer carry ammunition because of premature explosions in the ammunition.

I am running SF1 in windows 7 just fine, but the 2008 nor the 2006 weapons editor will allow me to open files. In fact the only thing that will work on it is the create new weapon feature. Otherwise its just a white screen. Any help here? Im planning to download SF2 on my other computer when I get it fixed, but until then I dont want to be flying around with no missiles on my Soviet fighters!!

im having a problem every once in awhile where the game starts fine, but then when I click fly the game drops back to the desktop instead of loading. Anyone know what to do?

I am probably wrong, but it looks like there are two base model MiG 31-s The MiG-31B seems larger than the other mods, and the missiles appear the proper size on it. The other mods are beautiful and I use them all, but are they a bit smaller scale?

Thats the same stuff I have read. I just wondered since the downloadable Su-9A has guns on it but I can find no reference to an A anywhere.

I can find pictures of the Su-9B everywhere, but I can find no reference to a gun armed A model.

I really cant think of any other air combat simulator that makes me feel that busy........ Thats why its my favorite, its not just playing a game, its alot of learning history too.

Yes thank you fellas, Downloaded it and I have never seen a better game. Dead serious It sent chills up my spine the terrain the flak, its as close as I will ever get to flying combat over Vietnam. Thanks to the Makers!!!

I have tried a couple of MIG-25's and I cant get the R-40/AA-6 to show up. I know how to do this stuff, or do I? lol I havent had any problems with other weapons, so does anyone know if there is a problem with the MiG-25 data file?

I appreciate it, but one of my soon to be SSGT's hooked me up yesterday with a geforce 7900 gs that will tide me over till I upgrade to a 512 mb card

Well basically all I know is that my monitor won't even turn on unless I hook it to the motherboard. It wont register with either port on the video card, and my computer isnt even registering it. I downloaded the driver from the NV website, and it wont install because it said components cant be found.

Six weeks because i'm a single military parent with 4 kids going through a dirty divorce lol . Not alot of funds here!!!

Well hopefully I get lucky the computer expert dude that I work with is telling me that my motherboard will support PCI 16 2.0 so we will see. Otherwise, I dont know how Im going to live without any flight simulators they are the only thing keeping me sane

That is the greatest website I have ever seen Thats where I got it from late in '07 The trick is going to be getting a new 256 or better PCI 16 video card so that I dont have to re-build my whole computer. I would like to go 512 this time but who knows.

No Wings over Vietnam for me for about 6 more weeks........................................:(
