  1. What Do You Look Like in Uniform Thread

Me, on parade for the Battle of Britain rememberance ceremony at RAF Cottesmore, Portrait taken of me, on receipt of my first good conduct stripe, Me, in the Middle East with 800 Naval Air Squadron, ...and me in Hansa, India. Don't really have any more, as either my parents have them, and I tended to spend my spare time behind the camera. (Am going to set up an album of examples for all to see!)
  2. Here are the pictures I promised (forgive that they are FS2002 screencaps.)
  3. Moorkey here with the latest on my EDI attempt. Have started to beef my undercarriage up (so it is a little more than just stalks with wheels). Hit a slight snag recently when animating the retraction mechanism, as my beleagured yet battle hardened PC decided it was going to, completely at random, reset all of the rotation axes. (I had nothing to do with it, honest!) Does anyone know what caused this? To test the feasibilty of the visual model / scaling, I temporarily 'ported EDI into MS Flight Sim 2002 (old I know, but I needed a quick and easy solution to nagging doubts.) Pictures to follow... The visual model is, I think, more than adequate. I'll let you be my judges, juries, and executioners.
  4. Corny Jokes Thread!

Two peanuts walking down a road. One was assaulted. Two fish are swimming in a tank , when one turns to the other and says "How the bloody hell do you drive one of these things?" Q. What's brown and sticky? A. A stick. Q. What do you get when you mix an insomniac, a christian, and a dyslexic? A. Someone who lies awake all night praying to dog.
  5. Here is the exhaust for the VTOL Lift system. At a guess, the lack of a dorsal intake indicates it has a bifurcated nozzle system similar to the harrier. (with the thrust split from the main drive into two exhausts on the underside of the aircraft. The aircraft's wing shape would also form a natural air cushion, allowing the aircraft to be substantially heavier than a normal aircraft using the same thrust).
  6. I'll agree with you there! Lauged out at this one!
  7. Latest Update: Have the basics of the landing gear in place. Produced this as a quick show... What does everyone think? P.S Sorry if I was disrespectful in my last post. I was extremely frustrated.
  8. Fear not, the cold black night is where I intend to meet you all with this one. P.S Sitrep. Am attempting to model the landing gear. Having a bit of a mare so if anyone out there knows how to dit correctly, please feel free to slap me in the face and call me stupid, before giving me some advice.
  9. Hey there to all keeping an eye on my UCAV EDI project. Have managed (after much fanangling and expenditure) to obtain 3ds MAX. The project is going ahead as fast as my spare time can take it. Sorry to be so slow.
  10. Cheesy Videos

Hey there all! Complete noob's second post! Just thought I would invite you all to my YouTube channel. You can find it at: http://www.youtube.com/Moorkey Here you will find videos I shot and edited during my career in the Royal Navy. Yes they're cheesy, yes they're a bit wobbly in places. What the hey, I'm no Scorcese, but I thought I would give you all a laugh anyway!
  11. Amen, FC. Always had a sore back, and numb feet, after a parade. Always ended up a little cranky too, so no need to excuse yourself.
  12. I don't claim to be any good at development, but, I have got, stuck in the depths of digital hell, this tidbit of Gmax design... ...all I need is the knowledge to transfer this beast into SF1/SFG/WoV/WoE/CWGH. Anyone out there care to assist?
