I thought the Block 50-52's were pretty nice as with the Polish and UAE models-just replace the cockpit!Been a while since I flew them though. The MF F-16A IDF model is top notch-Ive given them BVR capability and renamed them Barak C version Block 30 and 40 since WOI already has the Netz.

Any violent pitch up or turn and ur outta control-I dont fly this plane-use it strictly for AI and they fly it well!

Thats an odd engagement but perfectly believable...I bet you'll are flying with your radar on all the time.Ive noticed when you paint a bandit his wingman will come get you.

They honour the threat now-even in a high speed chase they will suddenly jink or dive to break your guns solution.

Unleashed on WOI- Feeling the heat Head to Head;Frankly that was one flukey shot-I was flying by the seat of my pants TOO LATE! Truth to tell this was one of the toughest missions Ive ever flown-I ran out of fuel after being chased by these two vipers and had to dump land in a kibbutz field.Andit was just the first! OK heres a question how do i throw more friendlies into the air for a scramble intercept? Right now on the first mission I get only two squadrons-is it because I have suprise attack checked as true??

Have you played around with the Flightengine ini especially Farclipdistance? If so I think you need a higher resolution tileset. This happened to me in WOI, but went away when I used Max188s tileset.In your case does Pfunk advise Brain32's tileset?

27vs F-15 it would boil down to the pilot;Ill say this again never fight the way your enemy fights! You see the Flanker pulling a cobra in front of you-ram the bastard! Or hose him full of lead;the Eagle has enough inertia to go up initially with the Sukhoi before it becomes a matter of engines. Another thing is I cant fly the Flanker too long-the engine noise is far too high pitched!

I wish we didnt behave so coy about our radar abilities during exercises.

Exactly why the Israeli's took the Eagle instead of the Tomcat! Agreed the Tom made the movies but it was the eagle that won the wars. Even in the game;the Eagle has the edge in ACM;might take longer to come around especially with all that groaning but the Eagle climbs better, is faster on the deck and well... it is the Eagle! I remember this engagement where a Flanker turned and ran full throttle,the Tomcat just couldnt catch up-outclassed in speed and climb ability!Had I been in an Eagle it would still have been advantage Flanker but with a very slim margin;had he slowed down or even turned I would have had him.

Nah I'd take the Eagle any day.Though I am partial to the Flanker as well, I'd pick the Eagle because it has brought me home against the worst of odds. If you are driving an Eagle there is a way.The trick is not to fight the way your enemy fights. And the Mirage!Just a little edge...
