Ive had WOE for the last two years-loved it, modded the heck out of it too. Then two weeks ago I got WOI.Blew my socks off. Then the patches were released and everything came down to the same standard-its really your choice...

Im just sticking to WOI. Im having a ball so far. In addition to Flightengine.ini changes as advised in the KB for low FPS and aircraft CTD's(though what I was experiencing was the former along with my radio comms going dead despite subtitles) I also altered the following in the MissionControl.ini MaxEventLog=16384 Now Im experiencing an average FPS of about 15 on full effect;shaders,shadows, you name it-of course this is with 1024X800 setting.Most importantly Red Crown is crooning loud and clear! And yeah I tinkered around with the Particlesystem ini provided with EE3

Particlesystem.ini woes!problem solved.

My wingmen,even red crown go silent on me.But I dont think its a game issue.Are there any Flightengine tweaks I can make to get rid of this.Gets rather quiet sometimes! This happened on the Aug patch, on a custom campaign during a suprise attack,i figured my comp couldnt take it, but it happened in the Golan Stalemate to this morning. I re-installed.Will check again. Yeah real quiet.But its kinda weird because its working fine on the first install which ive dedicated to the 67-73 era. So Im going put back the stock Speech folder;lets see if that works. Up up and away. Its an intermittent problem. No luck...I give up- any suggestions;Im pretty desperate now!

Does the WOE patch run the game on vista with shaders activated now?Reason I ask readme specifies OS as 2000/XP

How else does one rationalize this existence!
