Quite right. If you delete the stock Objects folder, the new Objects folder you introduce will no longer have any reference to the Stock aircraft, unless you repopulate them with the specific stock aircraft folders containing the relevant aircarft.ini
Allow me to elaborate;
Lets assume you are installing ODS.
After the process of creating the Mod folder by copying the .exe, renaming it, starting it...etc, you then delete the Objects folder within as directed. Then you copy the aircraft mods that ship with the ODS package. You will find there is an F-15C but no stock F-15A as originally part of SF2:Europe. If you want it you will have to re-introduce it.

Mixed flights will not happen, but they will fly out from Tel Nof AB; I just form up with them.

You will have to enter them as separate squadrons, i.e. the same squadron numbers but with different aircraft models.
Incidentally, if I recall correctly the Double Tail Squadron entered the conflict with 40 aircraft-A,B, C and D versions. While, Spearhead squadron was supposed to have been activated on 6th of June, 1982, under CO Yoel Feldsho, it wasn't implemented until the 16th of June, 1982.
So I have 4 entries for the same squadron.

Download the file(s) again and make sure the size of the file in your download folder/drive is the same as here on the CA website.

This update is for Mar 2012 or later version of Strike Fighters 2.
If you have an earlier version, you must update the game to
Mar 2012 version before applying this update.
