  1. Very cool and instructive sign there. All looks great, really like the Huey's rotor blur...
  2. Well, I guess it is a good thing I did NOT do the scorched earth thing for the last patch. I am bound and determined to make a combined install of all the jet sims, patch it, and throw it's pristine-ness on an external drive (DVD?) and then go ballistic on add-ons. Might take a week or so, full time... Oh, and cheers for the heads up FC...
  3. I originally got Tornado for the Amiga 500, but it was just too advanced for that 7 Mhz Motorola processor! It was actually what got me, kicking and screaming, into the PC fold. It looked lubberly on a 14 Mhz 80286 Intel. Very deep game, and Sparko hit it's many high points nicely. Seeing the GBU scream in and impact was just awesome through the laser sight...
  4. Was just treated to this vid at CombatSim.com, and felt it incredibly applicable to Wings over Israel... Can't keep my mind from the circling skies, tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I...
  5. Syrinx, eh? Can I get my handle changed to "Pan?" I likeses nymphs...
  6. Ooo, cool, so you added the "Infinite Improbability" engine? That should increase the odds to 1,425,327.1 to 1, and falling...
  7. MB-339A

There are some typos to correct, FP. If you look in the "add to weapondata.ini" file, you will see the correct name of the Defa pod. When you extract it, it is incorrect, merely "defa pod." The will get the cone shaped critter to show. As to them firing, I had flashes eminating from nowhere before the above change, so can't help there. As to the decals, again, a naming issue. I made one folder, named it MB-339A, and popped the other skin in there. Went into each decal.ini, and removed the _ARA & _Sviba from each skin name path, and have them all...
  8. MB-339A

I'm really having fun with this li'l rascal. Modded to allow AIM-9L's outboard, warload in the center, and the DEFA's inboard, take an 8 shipper and just raise hell! Total surprise, but oddly a hoot to fly. Many thanks to the ID(10)T team for this bolt from the blue...
  9. MB-339A

Yeah, I am getting the "bubble butt" empennage on the Italian one as well. I renamed MB-339A_Sviba to just MB-339A just to get one to show up in game. Neither version was listed in the single mission menu until doing so to one. And the added faring was there to muffle the exhaust after that, I guess. Very through PDF and Word doc, I must add, as I dig words...
  10. Please allow Dhimar to have SOME form of SAM systems. The quad 50's, stingers and spitting distance range of the >Scrolls down<, what? Oh, you have the ADATS listed. Jolly good, was to be my suggestion. Press on, looks like it could be a corker! I've done some INI edits to the WoI `82 campaign to make it in 2006, which is what I like. More modern. Hope it turns out well...
  11. Ran a test flight in it this morning before coming into work. It is an F-16A_10 campaign, and is SO much better with the wingies champing at the bit to get in the air, and in formation. Now, if you could just fix the new "unable" response from #2, I would be eternally grateful! I am, of course, kidding about the last deal, that's a TK thing. Great mod, thanks muchly...
  12. TK Rules!

I've bought multiple copies, when I have a couple extra bucks, for backup and to help a tiny bit more. There are, unfortunately, so few to support anymore...
  13. Er, OK. Is that a thread title I should be searching for? I can fiddle while Rome burns, no problems!
  14. Hey, could this thingmie be pointed out the left side of a Spectre as a cockpit mounted site? Maybe a TGA or summat for crosshairs? I get awfully disoriented lining up a shot whilst looking out the left window...
  15. Wow, way to get into the spirit of things, gwar. As an ex-Aardvark armorer, I really look forward to doing some low level incursions in the F-111's younger, bigger brother. Especially going the speed of heat with your virtual hair on fire in the finely sculpted Bekaa Valley in WOI. The feeling of speed in that monster beast as you see the tops of mountains go by over your altitude is going to be a serious rush. Many thanks to folks like Jug who did it with no re fly button. I'd need one of those extractors as a given for every debrief... ___EDIT___ Typos.
  16. With the option to shut off engines, it is almost criminal not to have opening canopies! Thanks for making us all law abiding Thirdwire citizens...
  17. Thank you very much, Mr. Mead! I tried to use the one for WoI, and it had no effect on my recently patched WoE. 8 shippers just take too darned long to get in the air, this will help a bunch, as I did get used to it in WoI!
  18. And, if so, will it be of any use to mud-movers in the Thirdwire sims, or just a tempting target for the enemies of the air? Yes, I did a search, and found no other references to the pic, so whazzup?
  19. Geez, now that I think about it, Warlord's was still on track!
  20. Dang. It looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue... (Hijack back on track, w00t!)
  21. Oh, lookity! It's me drivin' and Dave ridin' shotgun, just like in... Uh, oh. Might want to check them PM's WombRaider.
  22. Dude, Folks are just trying to help. It is kind of difficult to ascertain what you need help with, so they're asking for clarification. Not trying to criticize, just trying to understand, so help can be given. To quote from Jerry McGuire, help me help you!
  23. For semi-obvious reasons, I must give this one a go! Many thanks for the work, here's hopin' it's a good `un!
