  1. Screenshots in a reply? Sombody smite him or something!
  2. Spokane is a cool little `burg, been hangin' around here for about 8 years now. Big enough to have the major outlets here, yet small enough to not be a traffic gridlock nightmare. Much. You'll probably zip past the place I work at on your way to work on the Sunset hill, as it is called hereabouts. Not sure where you're coming from, but it is a 4 seasons climate, the longest is winter, of course. The Summer's are great, with a lot of lakes in the area. Mellow enough airport, with flights scheduled in clumps, `twould seem. Real busy for a bit, then dead for a while. I see approaches from my smoking area at work, as we're 3 - 4 miles east, as the plane flies. Fairchild AFB is just a few miles north and west, so you'll see the odd KC-135 on a parallel approach occasionally. Anyway, good luck out here, and drop me a PM if you have any quaetions...
  3. Changing of the Guard

I still wake up screaming from that deal sometimes. Was a beta-tester, and thought we finally had a handle on the issues, then that nuke hit. Holy crap, what a nightmare...
  4. Who have You Met In Person?

True dat, I had forgotten. Haven't seen hide nor hair of him since he let BioHaz go though...
  5. That is sort of what I was going for in the "skin the F-35" contest. The red anyway. Kind of a tribute to Lightnings past with a combination of Dick Bong's and Tommy McGuire's, even an NJ for McGuire AFB, which last flew fighters in the F-105. Couldn't get the silver to work, and the rest looked like a kid with crayons. I so suck at skinning...
  6. BLT is the decal MASTER, so I would vote for the former, Klavs...
  7. Who have You Met In Person?

No one from hereabouts, but the ol' Virtual squadron, the BlitzPigs, have had some gatherings and debauchery. Met up with one of the Canuckian swine last month in his home in Canada, eh? Even had one fly me over the Sierras in his 450 horse Stearman bi-plane a couple years back...
  8. Checkerino to all of the above. Maybe I saved the bitmaps in the wrong format or summat. I have done lots of new skins before, but usually by changing the decals only. When I get some time (Brother, can you spare a time?) I will save the *.bmp's as a different type. (RLE not RGB?)
  9. Tequila Class submarine sighting

Dang, late to the party again, as usual. Go Air Force! Bomb Navy Man, I gotta remember to enable pop-ups on my work system...
  10. Same here. I have a little dent in my forehead from banging it on the corner of my desk at home. Heck, the stuff I painted won't even show up in game, and I created a new folder, added a TextureSet.ini, and nothin'. Is there a limitation on names? I must also purchase TIME! Anyone got some for sale?
  11. Oook! I always get at least one in, so what better subject then the new Colorado kite kicking one out? There, met my personal quota...
  12. I like my MiG's extra crispy...
  13. Coonts has quite a few good reads out there. The novels are semi-dated now, but his non-fiction "Cannibal Queen" was very good. Well, shoot. I Googled his works, and it looks like he's written a few more, as of late. May have to pick them up sometime...
  14. Are those a kind of guided munition it has a truck load of? There are some folks who are gonna have a whole lot hurtin' if so...
  15. Cool, that'll help. Any ideas on the 2nd part, besides quitting my job?
  16. Wright-Pat swag? Dang! Now I gotta learn how to skin, and find the time to do so...
  17. Wasn't this the area depicted in the F-22 TAW by DID? Should make a cool campaign!
  18. OK, that last line made me LOL! Heckuva deal, many thanks Klavs and crew, woo-h00!
  19. Dave's out bikin' around taking pics of nukes instead of taking care of approving this fine beta? OK, I can live with that. BUT NOT FOR LONG!
  20. I was using the old USAF menus and they did not transition well. Went clean install for WoE due to this. AIM-9's definitely got their warheads replaced, my guess? Fire crackers. Popped 4 into a Tu-22 Blinder, 1st was a bit far off, but the other 3 detonated within specs and range, only messed the paint up a little. I also think they used helium instead of nitrogen in the Eagles front wheel, it does not want to stay on the ground! Overall, I do like it, a lot more challenging, especially in the 1st few flights of a campaign, the Reds have a serious numerical advantage, and are not easy to down...
  21. Perfect addition to the recently patched plain-Jane version of WoE. Loving `em on my Bushmaster jets in the `79 war...
  22. All excellent information, gentlemen, just one question. When during the proceedings does one add the, I assume, WoE patch to this tastily under 4 GB install?
  23. I think people who can see laser cats are even scarier!
