I just wanted to point out that the FIRST thing I unzip when I get a new file is the readme.txt. Without it, you're flying blind! I have seen others not include one, and it vexeth me `orribly! That is all...
  2. Each aircraft has it's own WindSoundName= in the Data.ini. The generic is called windloop.wav, do you have one in your sounds directory? If not, filch it from one of your other installs...
  3. Excellent! A Sierra Hotel addition for SEAD and CAS missions where I get about a dozen to 1 kill ratio. Many thanks!
  4. 2003 in Mexico, but they were for the So. American market only. I'm not sure why they could not bring `em up here. The last Wolfsburg Beetle was in 1978...
  5. I rather like my German version from 1971!
  6. WideSky V1.0

Alright, alright, you don't have to keep bumping this, I'll give it a go!
  7. I have newly re-discovered the Tornado, love that jet, and made a sloppy IAF version from the Locusta, and am sliding it into the `82 campaign as a "what-if." A CCIP would be an exceptional addition, if someone were to be so kind as to post their work for the GR1A...
  8. I think I see the problem with the Tomcat in those pics from SB. Left main tire pressure is a tad low. Yes, it took all my 14 years of USAF flightline experience to come to that conclusion, but I am here to help!
  9. The only two things a good wingman should ever say are. "Two," and "Sir, you're on fire!"
  10. I'm sorry, but just can't let this one slide by. CupCake? Did you lose a bet to someone? Male or female, I just don't see anyone taking that moniker without having lost big...
  11. Cool, I hadn't hears there was a WIP. I went rummaging through here for one last week so i could fly the A-12 to the range with a wingman who doesn't crash. Good to know one is enroute. Cheers for the update JH1...
  12. You know what has surprised me? With all the F-5's out there, I have never seen a T-38 skinned one. They would make wunnerful chase planes on the range...
  13. Thank You MK2

Many thanks for the efforts by all the folks over the years, and especially MK2 for keeping the virtual doors open.
  14. Just took the "E" out on my customary Range shake down flight, no anomalies noted, great "feel," looks great, a definite winnah! Merci beaucoup, mes amis! C`est tres bien!
  15. Well. I think they were classified as ground objects, and switched over to aerial after the last patch. Or, maybe I am wrong. The latest readme I just looked up did not mention balloons at all. Sorry, hadn't flown it for a while, so cannot recall that detail off the top...
  16. The ballons in FE are tethered observation balloons with baskets and observers. They do no move. No Zeppelins, which are slow movers, come in game, but there are one or two in the 3rd party realm, IIRC.
  17. If that ever happens...
  18. There are very few problems that a suitable application of high explosives cannot cure! ~Old USAF Weapons credo. In this instance, VERY high explosives...
  19. Great suggestion! NATO fighters was very well done, and is highly recommended. I never did get around to II, but this may be the excuse I need to give it a go!
  20. No, and yes. Howzat? There were vehicles unpainted, AFVs of some sort, IIRC, and the change of target bits changed nothing. But I prolly typo'd or goofed in some other nonsensical way, for which I am prone. Less of a pain to me to say bag it, and go with what works...
  21. Ditto the YAP bird. It is solo only, and I've used it on the range only. In a campaign, you could add some low speed escorts, I suppose, but none come to mind off the top...
  22. Err, I did, some months back, when it 1st came out. Had other issues like sticky runway, etc. Ended up tearing the new one out and reverting to the tried and true working one, as futzing around was yielding little in improvements...
  23. Spectres deserver respect! Is that some seriously cool tweak work to the YAP AC-130, or one you've conjured up from an existing C-130? The YAP one I can't seem to hit a blasted thing with. That gunsite would help immensely, I would imagine. I like the inset of the target in the upper right, like a Maverick. Very nice!
