  1. I am ambivalent, so will say both.
  2. Sparkvark?

Good tips on the `pit, as I tried to use the F-4J, as mentioned in the INI, and all I have is an aiming reticle. Will try with a modern `pit this evening, if I can figure it out. I understood enough to create the right, or droite, side BMP from the left, gauche.bmp The only other issue I have is an almost uncontrollable yaw to the left on take-off. The AI takes a HARD left wing drop and augers. Maybe there is an issue with my stick, but when I hit the mapped flaps up switch, all seems to go well from then on. Nifty looking little bird, I already have a USAF skin started, as it was a test jet, why not?
  3. Sparkvark?

C'est tres bien! Merci beaucoup. OK, that taps me out at this late age...
  4. Sparkvark?

Save a buddy who hasn't spoken French in 20 years. Do you have a link to this beta? I'd love to check it out...
  5. Sparkvark?

I am just a sucker for the Aardvark bark! Sitting 100 feet behind "F" models when they cracked `burners will do that to a person.
  6. Wow, C5! The beauty of that one shot, and your sig pic even, is just staggering!
  7. Good point. Also, make sure to delete the folders, maybe go so far as to put it in a non-standard area, to avoid registry issues like, C:\WoE or something.
  8. Concur with Swta. I carry a pair of 9's for dire emergency, self preservation mode only when flying an Eagle or a Phantom, and a few others. Knife fights are for suckers, BVR the bad guys, reverse course, get in the weeds and haul ass home... PS- Of course the lumbering, defenseless cargo or non-tail gunned bomber is always a viable target of 9'ers, as long as there is no escort.
  9. How do you think the children came to be? Hehehe...
  10. I likeses this bubble-butted babe.
  11. Cool lookin' li'l rascal! I think the specs were probably true, it would have been an export hit, if the usual teething pains were worked out quickly. Would be an excellent DACT type aircraft in game, as it is dissimilar to just about everything else!
  12. Just as an update, I haven't heard a blessed thing from them, and I even whipped out my press credentials. S&E gives sage advice...
  13. Needs a little o' Fairchild paint scheme, don't ya think?
  14. It looks like the folks promoting it also do Czech and Slovak translations for software, which is a good indicator of locale. As to this cash in, how are they managing it, as their site, http://mtrsoft.com/ , does not have any purchase links. The "more info" button for Combat over Israel yields this; One page of generic info. I did check their contact page, and shot them an email, so if they respond, I will post up their reply.
  15. It was actually from a model building page, as I tried the Google pics area for a look at the little wing wheels. Here is the part I liked; Full article here, model pic below;
  16. Very, very cool photo montage. I love successful "you are there' stories!
  17. Ditto what the X-Ray man said...
  18. What a fine looking model of an aircraft I knew next to nothing about. I just Googled `er up and found a glowing article about it in the 6 day war. A marvelous mud-mover? My favorite! Great job!
  19. It is actually a J-7, small typo. Go check the campaign thread under file announcements, the creator added a link on this subject.
  20. Wingmen

There is a roster editor, based on MS Excel, around this site, that was made for First Eagles. I have found that it works great in WoI. After mission #1 of a campaign, tweak them in some better numbers, and they will quit falling like flies. Of course they still have the odd stupid attack and auger into the granit clouds of the Bekaa Valley, but much better'n stock...
  21. Exotic. Best of luck with this...
  22. I can still say the same thing. Decals kicked my tailfeathers quite soundly. As to the looking good in USAF colors, I agree, but then again, what doesn't?
  23. Shh... Top Secret. Scroll down. | | | V V Velcro and rivets.
  24. Wow! I have to confirm what the crowd is crowing. Very nice job. Just took a shakedown flight up, and it was a wonderful flight! Great jet!
