  1. Am I a sick monkey since that map pic gives me wood? Looking mighty fine folks, I hope to be a respectable distance away from one of those Buff runs. Light `em up!
  2. Well, I don't reckon it is the supply values, as there are still a few armored groups, platoons, battalions, divisions(?), still running around. If the areas like Al Qusayr, Shayrat, or Tyas were the HQ areas, then it would take a while longer. I already extended the days to match the 33 taken in real life. I am going to fiddle with the WOI_CAMP4_DATA.INI, and prepare for the inevitable CTD's I experience when I mess with INI's...
  3. I third Ze'ev, has a ring in both Hebrew and English.
  4. Wow! In all my years of forum fnebbing, I don't recall ever having seen a double post in one post...
  5. Well, that makes you the HMIC then dunnit?
  6. I don't think that will, um, WORK SO WELL!
  7. Kurnass = Sledge Hammer Baz (Meshopar) = Falcon Nesher = Vulture
  8. Good. I was hoping I was not the only one that felt a little, well, odd, seeing that remark...
  9. Wow! Very nice 1st peek!
  10. He has put out 6 sims in 8 years, so even 3 is a bit too long. Of course, the original, SF:P1, took a bit of time, as it was building the base engine, but I only beta tested it for a few months, so don't know. I am also fairly confident that this engine will be the base for any further releases, just expanded and improved upon. I do agree that the one area that needs vast improvement is the terrains, but I've a feeling little more can be done with the current engine than is already seen in WoI. Time will tell, but that is my theory of the future for TK's tribe.
  11. Ooo, stealth missiles! Extra-double good! Er, sorry. I'll go away now...
  12. I am not sure if you all have heard of this project, but they have rebuild a real Vulcan, as seen over the South Atlantic 20+ years ago, and have been taking some test hops for certification. Story and video on "the Beeb." One of my most cherished memories whilst stationed in the UK was watching one do a fly-by while I was on End of Runway duty. Absolutely jaw-droppingly cool...
  13. A big !!11 As an ex-Aardvark armorer, I would love to have seen this beefed up beauty in real life! I hope the new FM tweaks in WoI translate to use of swing-wing and not falling like a brick on landing approach... ___EDIT___ I bet this would slip into the 2006 Lebanon War 2 I am trying to create like a glove!
  14. Chat? Not so much. It is a carefully categorized area, like a library, with many, many, pearls of wisdom from our generous modders and experimenters. Really a rich resource of interesting stuff. A good place to sit back with a beverage and peruse for an hour or three...
  15. Have you tried the knowledge base area? I knew the 1st few off the top, and have decent guesses about your latest, but I am pretty sure most of the INI stuff is listed therein...
  16. From the looks of the Screenshots thread, there may be a Voodoo in our future. I have know idea what the draw is to that jet for me, as they pre-date even my ancient times in the USAF. I just like it, and hope it is available sometime...
  17. It would seem somewhats elementary, but here goes; RadarSearchRange is how far out the radar reaches while just probing the sky, looking for reflections. RadarTrackRange is how close an object that reflects the energy is before it can track, or illuminate a target for a missile shot. RadarMinimumRange is where neither of the above can happen with reliability, due to the object being too close. Howzat?
  18. Ah, HUD modes, I see a key for that. Hadn't thought about it previously, as it changes automagically when you kick gear down, and there was little use until then. But then there came the Tiffy, and shouts of great joy! Thanks, CB...
  19. I'm an old-timer, but never cared to know before now, so never tried. How does one return to the "original" MFD pages? If there was a master arm or something, but I don't know of a way to switch back. Does anyone know if it is possible?
  20. I love it when they claw their way right through the lead. Gun kills are a bugger in WoI, as when you get within range, unless they're on finals, they jink like mad! As to the on finals part, I discovered that earlier today. At least I don't think they jink, as I passed `em head on and sprayed the both...
  21. The first thing I did was burn that bad-boy to CD. Heck, I even fit my WoE download on the same disc. A second copy yucked away in a separate binder, just in case!
  22. Sure, ground based, but if you have to lug them into the air...
  23. WOI Only?

I kind of figured it was something you were overlooking, as I have never had an issue with NWS in this series in the 8+ years I've been using it. Glad you got it sorted, as I know what you mean about obsessing about niggly bits...
