  1. The gentlemen at YAP might could use `em. They've done wunnerful things so far.
  2. The SLUF was an excellent mud-moving mutha! Too bad it was tainted by that dual USAF & USN deal.
  3. I've mentioned this before, but info has been found that I could use some help with. I was rummaging through CAT files with SFPIE and found a SingleMission.dll. It shows like this from WoE; Now, one of my peeves is that when testing out a new airframe, unless it is on the range, aircraft with "legs" usually have to go a couple of hundred miles each way for a strike mission, my fave. The above parameters look to have no bearing on this situation, but has anyone out there discovered any "hidden" options like MaxRange= or the like? I mean, I can edit a few files, and add the new airframe to a campaign and get reasonable specs, but would love to in Singles as well. Anyone? Bueller?
  4. Ah, cool. Getting with the program. Looks like a finely flambéd morsel you've cooked up there, MK2.
  5. Well, this gives some insight, so I appreciate it. Maybe ratcheting it down will allow closer targets. What I would REALLY like is a save button after campaign missions! Some of the Alpha Strikes created in the newest WoE patch are phenomenal! Being able to open one of those in Notepad and tweak airframes would rock! I am thinking of seeing what the values expressed in campaigns is, and trying them in this SingleMission.ini and seeing if it blows things up. But that value dealio is one place to start.
  6. Correct. I have instant CTD when applying rudder in the WoE only, NATO Fighters it flies just fine. Weirdness.
  7. I always release brakes and apply 50 or so percent thrust, until cleared for takeoff, then apply reheat. This is with any aircraft. I do so on the Tornado in WoE, and start to veer left, and I use my Saitek pedals to correct, >whack<, CTD. The odd thing is, in my NATO Fighters install, I have absolutely no issues. I tried the graphics lines mentioned in the other thread, after extracting the FlightEngine.ini from the FlightData.cat in both installs. No change to either. NATO-F still works well, and usually assigns an airfield strike. I am unsure as to what the differences are between the installs, as NF is based on WoE.
  8. One other small item, external stores jett does not work. It says it has done so, and the external fuel needle drops to zero, but the tanks and that massive MW-1 is still visible externally. I have not done any tests to see if the drag from these items is still there, but it feels like it.
  9. Right here! <<--Clickable link.

1st run with the MW-1 in AmokFloo's Luftwaffe Tornado IDS!
  11. >Sniff, sniff, snort< Did someone say Vulcan? Nah, must've been scent-lucinating...
  12. I, unfortunately, did a couple of times when installed in WoE. I thought maybe I messed up by integrating with the TornadoIDS folder I already had. I removed it, and re-unzipped, same. Tried another install, NATO Fighters, ran a range mission, then one over Germany, no issues on either in my NATO install. Weird. The Event log said WoE.exe had an issue with TerrainEngine.dll for both of the crashes when flying from WoE.
  13. Zoinks! I did not even know about this fine CombatAce service! I went and checked it out, easy as pie! Youse guys do rock. Entirely!

  15. Well, I do have them all, except I reckon you meant "any" version as opposed to "all" versions of SF:P1, as I do not have Gold. I have the beta still, does that count? I did vote yes, BTW.
  16. Wow, that never got released? I remember testing the fine item some year or two ago. It was kind of tough choosing a side, but there was never a problem with targets, as they all were! Good job, MK2.
  17. Good to see you back MK2! What has changed since the 1st iteration of WoV84? It has been a while since I flew this one, a very, very good one!
  18. I don't mean the game retired him, I did. e usually just hits the range on occasion, if a new system comes out, or for refresher training.
  19. Nice! Will have to try that. I like the weight on wheels entry, would be odd to hit it in flight and get all that air in there.
  20. Ditto Typhoid. 4 stars get retired. Have a new Captain running `round in NATO Fighters 2 currently.
  21. OK, so they are TAC patches. I was thrown by the big patch in the upper left of the picture on the download page. It is, indeed, ACC, which was derived from the TAC patch.
  22. He is such a tease, isn't he? Cool vid, how'd you get to key on the hook? It is what I try on every new airframe I fly.
  23. The incapable of completing campaigns was a big issue in the beginning, but later patches did eventually fix that. It was not the 1st couple, but the 3rd or so. You are not saving the old campaigns and trying to tuck them back into a fresh install are you? That will never work. Fresh install, patch it to the max, and you should be good to go. I was on the original beta team, and remember the WalMart fiasco all too well. Have fun!
