The 75th Virtual Fighter Squadron is a A-10C and UH-1N Huey group looking to recruit individuals to have fun and improve their skills at the same time. The core group consists of enthusiasts that have been flying sims for decades (yes we're old), and want to share time with like minded individuals to grow and have a load of good times with. Does anyone have any experience with any of the newest video cards available in the PCI 2.0 16 family? I'm specifically looking at 4 different cards: Nvidia Gforce GTX 275 Nvidia Gforce GTX 285 AMD Radeon HD 4870 AMD Radeon HD 4890 I haven't seen anything posted regarding either of these cards chip-sets but I'm concerned about compatibility with older games/simulations like F4AF and crashes/bugs and so forth. I've had much better luck with the Nvidia chip-sets and drivers for older sims and don't know much about the newer Radeon drivers. I'm interested in any feedback, positive or negative so any help is appreciated.

I just purchased an ASUS Rampage Extreme MB. I've torn between usingthe provided sound card that comes with the board or disabling it inthe BIOS and use my tried and true Audigy II. My experience hasalways been that the on board sound card or added card on some boardsis basically prone to trouble with games and that I should go with theSoundblaster card instead. Does anyone have experience with this MB or close model?
