OR there is a fix already which I am not awared of...? The configuration above works. The Sparrow sits next to the Sidewinders. All 4 Phoenix sit under the fuselage. But I can never fit 2 more Sparrows into the gutter between the Phoenix. -

Where can I find the F-14 Tomcat with a improved cockpit. I don't need the TCS mod. I found the aircraft mod in Column5 and here but the pit shows some weird graphics when I loaded it up in WoI. I suppose I need a separate pit mod as well. -

I wonder if it possible at all, to modify the .INI file such that I can issue the "Engage Air" command. Right now, the stock commands available to the wingman is "Attack my target". I just want to send a command and my wingie will engage every bogies in my vincinity or his. -

I am reading someinformation about Alamo found the AE variant being designed to intercept cruise missile. Is it possible to intercept cruise missile below Mach 1 in TW series? By the way, how to display a travelling cruise missile data on the bottom left hand corner of the screen just like an aircraft does? -

Typical problems would be the country of origin of the AA-9. Then you have to check the Service Start Year and Service End Year. Make the former be 1950 and 2050 for the later. -
How do you change the text color of the aircraft data on the bottom left corner and that on the bottom right? Anyone has any information about this?

It really depends which installation you are talking about. As far as SFP1/WoV/WoE, you have to manually adjust the settings in the AircraftObjects.ini. As for WoI because the AI is much stronger, you may not need to do the adjustment. If you want to know the difference between each file, I would like to suggest you to download some file compare tools which is very helpful. Now, let's go back to your question. Dear all, At long last, I have completed my experiement on setting up a BVR compatible enviroment using the WoI engine. Neither WoV nor WoE's engine were tested with such great success. Please be reminded that this result serves not as a negation of the original purpose of WoI in terms of the modelling the war era in the 80's when BVR was not a general term as commonly accpetable and undrestood as by today's community. Enclosed is a set up of 2 F-15C and 2 Su-27 initially at 100km (i.e. 50nm) away. AIM-120C is added to the arsenal, with range modified to 70km roughly equal to 35nm which is the range of AIM-120C in a head-on engagement. Both flight groups are heading 90 degrees where the Su-27 was aheadteh F-15C. You will see the Su-27 turns around to engage the F-15C. You (call sign Cowboy) will be riding a F-15C just very close to the AI -F-15C flight. Just hit A to go autopilot to align yourself in the saem course with the AI F-15C. Listen to any "Fox 3" while you try to lock up the Su-27. Increase your radarsearch range to 80nm and hit HOME key to track the Su-27 and hit INSERT key to lock it up. Then hit T to get data about the Su-27, note the range from target should read about 45nm or something like that. The AIM-120C has been tuned to 70nm for Seeker Range as well as Max Launch Range. So when the Target distance reads 36nm get prepared for the AI F-15C to fire their AIM-120C you should hear they say "Fox 3". To get the best visual effect, please drop the ss-Exhaust Rocket.bmp and sss-Exhaust Rocket.ini along with the Smoke4.TGA file into the Effect folder. I am using Lexx_Luthur's rocket effects for the AIM-120C. Credits go to Lexx for this. Press F9 to view the missile. Keep on pressing F9 until you are cycled to the missile. You will need the modified ViewList.INI file to use this view function. Download the attachment and save it to the Flight folder before you run the mission. Seriously, I don't use all Bunyap's weapon OR maybe it is not the time I am using them all. You can just pick a few you need and put it across the the WOI folder. I am more concerned about another problem with weapons. When an ground attack aircraft is attacked int he air, it dumbs all its bombs and evade without ever trying ot get to the target. Is it just my WoI installation or you also have had the same problem? -

Sorry for the late reply. Couldn't connect to CA for some reasons. Indeed, many files previously found in folders of SF+ sims are now contained inside the .CAT files. You will have to extract them. Bunyaps weapon pack provides the TGA files that is quite true. But the problem is Bunyap weapon pack is NOT COMPATIBLE with WoI that has been tested. There is another weapon pack but that is with much fewer weapons. Now if I want say the AS-5 for testing it out with Tu-16 as the launching platform, I have to copy it from Bunyap's Weapon Pack manually. As for Lexx's work, you wil gave to supply WoI with the TGA file as resources. -

I come to ascertain the root of the problem. It is not about which weapon rack or weapon pack. Assuming no add-on weapon pack, that is the same to say based on the vanilla version of WoI (i.e. no patch applied), and this version of F/A-18A, the outer wingpylons on both sides can load up to 2 AGM-65A/B and the inner wing pylon on both sides can load up to 6 AGM-65B/A. After applying the April 2008 patch, the above configuration is no longer possible. Sorry about the finding, but there it is.
