  1. Sorry about the bad link guys . Just follow the one in Hecks last post. BTW thanks Heck
  2. Here are a few more. Then I'll stop
  3. Does anyone out there use the " Le Missioneur mission editor" ? If so have any of you found a problem when you install it into your FE main folder? I tried to install it today (the first time) and it seemed to install ok. I even created a quick mission. when I ran the game and selected the new mission, then clicked "Fly", the game crashed, shut down and went to my desktop. I uninstalled LM and ran the game again and the same thing happened. Crashed when I clicked"Fly". So I had to do a System Restore of my computer to get it working again. Thank god that worked. I backed up some stuff before a second try this time. But when I installed LM the same thing happened. This time before I clicked "Fly" I noticed that LM had rearanged all my settings back to the default game settings. The resolution, difficulty settings, graphic settings, etc etc, were all changed to default. I changed all the settings and clicked "Fly" and I got the same results as before. Crash! Needless to say I had to restore again. Why is the Le Missioneur editor program crashing my computer? southside bucky said he uses LM and has no problems with it at all. Any ideas anyone?????
  4. Ok I got it working. But I've noticed everytime I exit out of LM and run FE to play the newly made mission I have to reset all my game settings. Otherwise the game crashes. It happens every time. Is this normal?????
  5. Here are some pics of Jasta 30 in Spring 1917. Von Bertrab's black DIII is in there as well.
  6. Jasta 30 DIII's early 1917

I've changed the wing colors back and I've also added Ltn Otto Fuchs Alb.DIII OAW to the mix. Now there are 8 personal skins. Good enough for me!
  7. I'm doing a generic Jasta 12 Albatros DIII to add to the mid war Jasta inventory. I cant find much in the line of skins for the DIII. Looking for the black tail versions with white spinner. Only found two and von Tutschek's all black one.
  8. Thanks a bunch guys. I'm just doing the Jasta 12 D.III's first. I found Marek Mincbergr's website the other day. A big help. I'm shocked there're not other photos of DIII's. Well here is all I have for now. 1. von Tutschek's black DIII 2. The three pointed star 3. Ltn. Oskar Muller black and white chevrons 4. Wavy black line on fuselage sides - Although I think the end of the wavy line near the forward fuselage might be a snakes head. Can anyone concure? 5. A generic Jasta 12 DIII skin with white cross fields, black tails, and white spinners.
  9. Thanks Icarus999. I'm almost afraid to try again. Are you saying after I install LM that I have to reset my settings and create a mission with all perameters filled out correctly before FE would work correctly? Because the second time I installed LM I changed the game settings back to the way I had them and tryied to fly a regular single mission and it still crashed. Not even using LM yet. Do I have to create a mission before I can use FE again?
  10. Jasta 26 Alb D.V 4-Pack

I think the one with the swastika should have the swastika reversed. I found a photo that appears to have it reversed. If anyone who dowloaded this wants to change it I'll post a fix shortly. Sorry.
  11. Jasta 26 Alb D.V 4-Pack

    Version

    116 downloads

This is a 4-Pack of Jasta 26 Albatros D.V's The lozenge camo has been colored differently. And salmon colored rib taping being added. 1. Oblt. Bruno Loerzer DV D.2299/17 2. Ltn. Otto Fruhner DV D.2329/17 3. Swastika marking Unknown serial and pilot 4. Stock Jasta26 DV with changed lozenge color Too me the stock lozenge camo seemed too dark. So I added a little more color to brighten it up. Also use the TextureSets I included for a more glossy reflective finish. Enjoy, quack74
  12. After all this time using the KMD mission builder I just realized that all the made decals for custom skins dont appear in the mission. Ex: If I use my Pfalz DIII's of Jasta 10 which all have custom decals, the decals dont show in the created misson. But they do work in the FE single mission creator. Has anyone else noticed this. And why does this occur with KMD. The decals are in the skin folders under a folder named "D".
  13. Decals missing using KMD

I know you're sleeping now. I'll start a new thread with this one. I reinstalled LM and I get the same problem. It seems to overwrite my game settings as well. Something is screwy. Thank a bunch once again bucky.
  14. I just added the Pfalz D.III to the download section. It's markings are that of Jasta 18. Can be used with any of the other Jasta 18 aircraft. I left the stock game markings but it should really only be used after March 1918. This is when Jasta 18 adapted the red and white colors under Ltn. August Raben, commander of Jasta 18.
  15. Decals missing using KMD

Flanders was the first I tried. I installed LM right into my FE main folder. Everything worked the way it should. Created a couple of flights. saved it. when I clicked on the "Fly" button "Crash!" right to desk top. I'm kind of afraid to install it again. Dont think I could restore if I had too. If I left out something in the mission menu, you think that could cause it to crash? Yeah you could say I'm not having much luck with this stuff . But I guess I'll give it another go. Cant resist it, must try again! I only stand to lose everything Thanks bucky,
  16. Decals missing using KMD

You're right about messing with the game and all its files . I dont know what the hell is in my game any more. It is impossible to find the source of any problems these days . Speaking of problems, I just installed LM and I already like it better. It will take some time to figure how to make the waypoints and such. But I just made a small mission and tried to run it. I clicked "Fly" and the game crashed right to the desktop. I tried to uninstall LM and then run the game again and the same thing happened. So once again I F'd up my game. I did a system restore and got it back ok. But the kicker is, I was just working on 7 Albatros DIII's from Jasta 30 including Bertrab's black one. I ran the game after restore and they were all gone! By luck the skins were still in the game's DIII folder. Just the TextureSets and Decal .ini's were gone. I dont know what was up with that but I got lucky thats for sure. So anyway, I installed the LM right into my FE folder. I followed all the install instructions and it all seemed to work. Until I ran the mission of course. Any Ideas? Why do you think it crashed my FE install?
  17. Very nice. I've seen this one in a line up photo with Nieuport 11's. All with Russuian markings. You should make some Nieuport 11's to go along.
  18. Decals missing using KMD

I'll give that a try for sure. Thanks a lot bucky. My KMD works differently now than when I first installed it. I dont know why but something changed. Oh well. Maybe TK will have one for us one day. Hint hint TK
  19. Decals missing using KMD

Doesn't anyone use KMD mission builder??? Hey bucky, what do you use to create all your missions? Have you noticed this before? I would like to create some missions for everyone to use. I would like to include my skins as well for some historically accurate missions.
  20. File Name: Jasta 26 Alb D.V 4-Pack File Submitter: quack74 File Submitted: 30 Sep 2009 File Updated: 21 Oct 2009 File Category: Albatros Skins This is a 4-Pack of Jasta 26 Albatros D.V's The lozenge camo has been colored differently. 21. Do you mean can the wing pattern be added to the main (stock) Albatros DV wings ? If that's the question than yes. I will post one named "GermanCamo3" with a different lozenge camo.
  22. A nice easy effect for the finish on your planes. I personaly like having a reflective glossy finish on my planes when the sun hits them just right. Considering the real planes had a gloss clear coat added to their finish, I think this is a historically accurate rendering. You'll see in a lot of WWI photos the finish on the planes is very shinny. Thats why a lot of the time one cant make out numbers or personal markings and such. In every aircraft's skin folder(s) there is a TextureSet file. Open that file and you will see, at the bottom, three lines that say: Specular - Glossiness - Reflection. Change their values to read this: Specular=1.800000 Glossiness=1.000000 Reflection=0.100000 They probably don't have to be this high, but that's where I left them. It works well. It looks very cool to see an EA trying to pull up and away from your guns and have the sunlight reflect off of the wings and fuselage. Even planes going down in a spiral will flicker with sunlight reflections.
  23. Your welcome. I didn't do much, just changed the numbers a bit. The effect was already there. The only problem, that I should have mentioned above is, You have to do this for every skin for every aircraft A bit time consuming. You could just add it to the planes you like and the EA you see the most.
  24. The Strutters Ball!

Clb Roll moment due to sideslip Clp Roll moment due to roll rate (roll damping) Clr Roll moment due to yaw rate Cnp Yaw moment due to roll rate I got everthing to work now, even the rudder, by adding to all the above values. Everthing is a bit too sensitive and has too much reaction to the control inputs. I'll just keep decreasing the values till I get it to be a dog to fly . Unless someone is working on an update for the flight model. Or am I the only one with a flight model problem?
