Decals missing from add-on aircraft
quack74 replied to quack74's topic in Thirdwire - First Eagles 1&2
Thanks p10ppy. I'm glad it's not just me. This game is getting too crazy . Too many things to fix and change and add to make it right. Every time I sit down to play I end up having to fix something. Still fun though -

I know this had to be asked before. How do you get planes to stop exploding when shot. Losing wings and tails is one thing and I know they could and did explode but this is a little too much. How do I tone it down a bit? And if, on landing, my wing tip happens to just tap the ground I explode. How do I fix that one too? Too much exploding goin on

Very cool add-on. The tracer smoke makes it that much more real. Nice going Jan Tuma

Anybody know the color of Dr.1 583/17 of Jasta 14? It has the same scheme of Dr.1 198/17 of Jasta 14. But are the center stripes red and white? Are all the stripes red and white? Or is it a take your best guess kind of things? Here are some picks: A little dark. Or is it the same plane as 198/17?????? Just wrong caption??????

Not a bad idea I'll do it that way

Well bucky you definitely know your stuff. With all that info I will post a skin of 583/17. But I think I'll leave the markings off. Just so everybody can use it for all of 1918 if they want. I also made Dr.1 144/17 Ltn. Stapenhorst of Jasta 11, and Dr.1 163/17 Ltn. Linsingen of Jasta 11. And I'll post J11 Red Stripe with an olive drab band around cockpit. No problem at all. So I'll post 3 Dr.1's and a patch for red stripe. Again thks southside bucky

I'm making skins for the Camel in the RNAS no10 squadron markings. I know that A flight had black and white stripes, B flight had red and white stripes, and C flight had blue stripes. The wheel discs where white with artwork in the flights colors. They had two white stripes on the fuselage. One in the mid section and one just before the horizontal stabilizer. If anyone knows of any other detail or any photos available please let me know. I would like to get these as accurate as posible before posting. I'm going to post a download with 3 camel skins first. All with white wheels only, for AI purposes. A Flight B Flight C Flight Then I'll post 4 camels for each flight with different wheel markings. Only because the game doesnt generate personal markings on Camel wheel discs. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thks

I think all of my terrain file have lost their trees. I've just noticed when I play in any of the terrains (Cambrai, Vogesen, Verdun, etc) none have trees. I think a couple of them did. Am I wrong???? I dont remember which had trees. But if someone could send me a terrain w trees that would be great. Dont know what happened. I didnt erase anything. Was it a patch that messed something up? Always something!

Thats ok everyone thks. I re installed the whole game and added the latest Nov patch. Everything works just fine now. Yes I backed up all my skins And I have my trees!
-
I have the skin for the "B" flight with the Atom wheels with full stripes. I'll post the skin files needed as a patch. As far as the numbers go I just let the game manage the numbers. Only because I didnt know any of them at the time. I could make the number for the "B" flight w/ the atom wheel covers I guess. I'll add that with the patch. Thks Bucky
