I have to retract my statement about using them in campaign mode . Doesn't seem to work. In the loadout menu the Jasta 18 Dr.1's are there, but when selected they turn into the Jasta 18 AlbatrosDVs. Kind of complicated. I'm working on it. Actually I dont know if its possible to edit campaigns But they work in single missions. So I'll post them for that. By the way has anybody here ever seen a photo of a Jasta 18 Dr.1? Besides Rabens!?

Is it possible to make the game recognize a pilot thats linked to a particular skin? ex: I made a Frederick Kempf skin of a Dr.1 in Jasta 2. If this skinned Dr.1 is second in my flight of Dr.1's of Jasta 2 can I get Kempf's name to appear in the Pilots list at the Loadout screen? So if his Dr.1 is shot down or if he is killed, it will appear in the Stats menu or Flight log menu after a mission. I ask this because somtimes while flying missions I will see a plane that uses an ace's name rather than the aircraft name in the correct Jasta or squadron. So it must be possible! No? I think that would be a great addition to the game if all these downloaded skins would be recognized in the game for what they are.

Does this work w a self created ace skin? Could I have one of my own skinned Dr.1's appear in a campaign? Or multiple Dr.1's for that matter (custom skinned Dr.1's)

This patch will Change the thin bands to red and the main thick band to a light blue almost gray. This is the way a replica of 489/17 looks. Thanks to a photo sent to me by von tobler. The thin bands in the blk and wht photo seem too light to be black. Red might be the way to go. -

I think the Rudolf Stark Dr.1 in the download section might be wrong. The pilot may have been Vzf. Edgar Sholtz. Maybe they both flew the same Dr.1. Not sure Anyone know?

You're very welcome. I'm glad you and others are downloading them. I'm trying to make them as accurate as possible. If there is one in particular you would like just send me a message. I'm working on two more Jasta 14's for now. Then a few Jasta 6's. -
Thanks for the info southside. I knew something wasn't right. But couldn't find the info. You think Lillac could have been the color of the band and tailplane tips? But probably not with Jasta 11. So I guess we cant know for sure. Too bad huh

Thks for the sounds by the way. They're great. Those web sites are pretty good to. The Paper Airplane one I've used before for references. Its not easy going off of black and white photos. So I hope I'm close with my color schemes . Anyway they look good I'll be doing some more very soon. Jasta 14's are hard to come by. Noticable ones anyway Oh by the way, the new markings definitely make things easier and faster.

File Name: Edgar Scholts Jasta 11 File Submitter: quack74 File Submitted: 12 Nov 2008 File Updated: 12 Nov 2008 File Category: WW1 Aircraft This Fokker Dr.1 146/17 is believed to be the mount of Rudolf Stark when he flew with Jasta 11 The color scheme is only speculatory. The true color of the band aft of the cockpit and the tailplane tips are not known. This is just my version. Looks good anyway. Enjoy Edit: Change the Folder name to Scholts J11. This was Starks Dr.1, but not with Jasta 11. It's a possibility that Edgar Scholts was the pilot of Dr.1 146/17 of Jasta 11. Thks to Southside Bucky for the info. Hope you still like the skin. If anyone wants a change in color just send me a message. Click here to download this file

I've noticed with the oct' 08 patch the in game maps look just like the real terrain. I can now see all aircraft and airfields very clearly. Now why can't it be that way when mission building. I use KMD mission builder and the maps are horrible. You really cant see anything. Is there no way to fix this?
