    What a beauty, thanks Veltro!
  2. Nice one! Looking forward to it.
  3. The damage textures don't work - they are TGA files but I don't think that have any alpha channel in them.
  4. Great looking aircraft, thanks Geezer, she flies really well, and looks just right. Templates would be great - there are quite a few different skins for this bird which could be done. Couple of small bugs to report: I found the lights a bit off. Fortunately Mue's new LODViewer makes finding these things easy, so make the following changes to position the lights: [LeftLight] SystemType=LIGHT Position=-4.174,0.52,1.155 LightSrcOffset=-0.0,0.00,0.00 Color=0.88,0.25,0.25 Brightness=0.025 LightSrcRange=0.5 CanFlash=FALSE [RightLight] SystemType=LIGHT Position=4.174,0.52,1.155 LightSrcOffset=0.00,0.00,0.00 Color=0.25,0.88,0.25 Brightness=0.025 LightSrcRange=0.5 CanFlash=FALSE [TailLight] SystemType=LIGHT Position=0.0,-6.15,0.18 LightSrcOffset=0.00,0.00,0.00 Color=0.88,0.88,0.88 Brightness=0.04 LightSrcRange=0.3 CanFlash=FALSE The MG shell ejection positions were way off, over on the left wing. The following changes makes them more central: [Gun1] ... EjectPosition=-0.20,0.55,-0.65 [Gun2] ... EjectPosition=0.20,0.55,-0.65 And lastly, the model doesn't seem to have any bomb pylons under the wings, so if you load bombs they hang in the air, clear of the wings. I made the following change to get them closer to the wings: [LeftBombRack] ... AttachmentPosition=-1.94,-0.073,-0.330 [RightBombRack] ... AttachmentPosition=1.94,-0.073,-0.330 Also, none of the cockpit gauges seem to work, not sure why.

Just downloaded it, and it looks great, thanks Geezer.
  7. If you abandon a SF2 campaign mission part-way thru the mission you can take up where you left off in the campaign, but if you die, then the campaign is over, and you can't re-fly it, or any other mission in that particular campaign, again.
  8. Looks great Wrench, thanks. I'm looking forward to the P-40E/Kittyhawk getting the same upgrade treatment.
  9. This is the black weirdness I found on the new PTO P-40B, which I mentioned. Fly the aircraft without the Decals folder and the aircraft looks like this, with the fuselage and wings all black. With the Decals folder present all is fine, so there is no problem, but it is a weirdness I have never seen before, so I though it was worth a post. Also the wing MG ejection positions which need some adjustment to match the positions on the skin.
  10. I'm sure it was. I don't take offence, and am always grateful to modders for their efforts. I was just reporting a weird glitch which I found which I thought people might be interested to know about. I suspect it was caused by the over-complicated Decals.INI file, with a whole bunch of unused null entries, but who knows, and the solution is easy - just have the decals folder present.
  11. Looks great, thanks Wrench. I love all these PTO/CBI birds.
  12. Thank for the gun fix, they are working better now. I always use decals, but I usually set up aircraft manually, folder by folder, and I just happened to give this one a fly before copying over the decals, and got the weird result, which I thought was worth reporting
  13. Like it a lot, thanks Wrench. The new cockpit is good.
  14. Thanks Wrench, it looks good. I love the attention to detail with all the lights, and I think the Stary cockpit is a good fit for this aircraft. The shell ejection positions for the wing guns do not line up with the ejection ports on the skin, they need some adjustment I think. Also, I noticed a really weird thing when flying the aircraft without the decals installed - the fuselage shows up as black. Installing the decals fixed the problem, but it is a weird problem I have never seen before.
  15. In your first version the lack of the CockpitDataFile= line is crucial - without it the aircraft will not be player-flyable. Your second version looks OK, but you will need to have the stipulated file A1_cockpit.INI in that same folder, plus the required Cockpit sub-folder with all the cockpit files.
  16. For TGA files you need a graphics program like Photoshop or PaintShop Pro.
  17. Welcome back mate, that Ju-88 is looking good.
  18. Structural factor is the number you are looking for. Jack it up to 2 or 3 and you will have a very tough target, especially for small-calibre bullets like the .303. I find I can easily get a couple of Bf-110C's in a mission, in a Spitfire MkI or Hurricane. It is much easier with cannon, though.
