LOOKING FOR DECAL MAKING TUTORIAL
thundercheif replied to Veltro2k's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Try out the gimp. I find creating decals much easier in this program. You just have to paint what you want to show up and save it as a TGA (32bit, turn RLE compression off) Hope you find this helpfull -
What the hell is this supposed to mean?

All thirdwire campaigns are dynamic, in the sense that the outcome of your missions affect the whole war. -

So FE terrains in the jet sims is a no go. Which leads me to: porting jets into FE. I have tried this with an A-4 and was (kinda) successful. I didn´t take any FPS hit and jet engines seems to be supported but some features might be missing from the FE engine. I think I will run some tests when i get back home.

AIM-120

I think the aim-120 is an AHM. So add AHM to the weapon station you want to carry it. -

Steal Beasts is realistic but graphically outdated. Btw i highly doubt that WoV is the most realistic flight sim

http://www.fs-freeware.net/modules.php?nam...cle&sid=834 Not completely sure this is the bird i´m thinking about but one of the renditions of the TU-154 for MSFS had to be started completely from the bottom. It takes some time to learn but its very realistic and the model and VC is as good as it gets.

I would say the TW one. But there is a third party starfighter out there that i haven´t tried yet. -
Amen About detecting guns in public iv´e heard about a contraption that "sees" bombs by detecting the powder (at least that´s what i remember) in them. maybe one day the technology will be sensitive enough to detect gunpowder from bullets.
