  1. Agreed, and the YAP Straits of Hormuz plane set includes a Zulu but not a Whisky Cobra.
  2. Have we got an AH-1W other than the DAT model?
  3. Jarek are you going to do a C-130J-30 Shimshon in your Israeli Herk pack as well?
  4. In the F/A-18 v1.1 download http://combatace.com/files/file/13589-fa-18-series-by-the-hornet-team-beta/ there is a FA-18C_94-USMC with the following five skins in the .ini file: [TextureSet001] Directory=VMFA323 Name=VMFA-323 Death Rattlers (Carrier) Nation=USMC Squadron=VMFA323 Specular=0.150000 Glossiness=0.025000 Reflection=0.000000 [TextureSet002] Directory=VMFA251(AB) Name=VMFA-251 Thunderbolts (Carrier) Nation=USMC Squadron=VMFA251 Specular=0.150000 Glossiness=0.025000 Reflection=0.000000 [TextureSet003] Directory=VMFA-122 Name=VMFA-122 'Crusaders' Nation=USMC Squadron=VMFA122 Specular=0.150000 Glossiness=0.025000 Reflection=0.000000 DecalNumberRandomize=TRUE DecalNumberStart=0 DecalNumberEnd=11 [TextureSet004] Directory=VMFA-232 Name=VMFA-232 'Red Devils' Nation=USMC Squadron=VMF232 Specular=0.150000 Glossiness=0.025000 Reflection=0.000000 DecalNumberRandomize=TRUE DecalNumberStart=0 DecalNumberEnd=11 [TextureSet005] Directory=VMFA-251 Name=VMFA-251 Thunderbolts Nation=USMC Squadron=VMFA251 Specular=0.150000 Glossiness=0.025000 Reflection=0.000000 DecalNumberRandomize=TRUE DecalNumberStart=0 DecalNumberEnd=16 Within the folder for the aircraft are only skin folders for VMFA-122 and VMFA-232. There are no skin folders for the other squadrons. I'm specifically looking for the skin for VMFA251(AB) to join CVW1 on the YAP JFK and other carriers on which that Airwing served. Unfortunately there is no VMFA-251 skin in the whole of the download pack or in this v2.0 pack http://combatace.com/files/file/15259-fa-18-series-update-by-the-hornet-team/ I did find a VMFA-251 skin in the SF1 section in this skin pack http://combatace.com/files/file/1554-usmc-fa-18a-skin-pack/ but it's the regular land based version without the AB tailcode and I would think that this is the [TextureSet005] from the above list. The fact that the additional texturesets for VMFA323 and VMFA251(AB) are in the .ini file would suggest that the skins have been created but never made the final cut into the upload pack. I wonder if any of the Hornet Team have these skins on a HD somewhere and would be willing to upload them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  5. Have a look at the data.ini for the mod of the YAP CVN-65 Enterprise for the parking spot entries. http://combatace.com/files/file/14786-cvn-65-enterprise/
  6. Some shots of the new YAP JFK... Freshly installed Then I added some parking slots and the first time I ran a mission the game generated The Hornet Team F/A-18Cs from the same squadron as the YAP flyable and static models! More experiments with parking slots - the first 2 Tomcats are clashing with the static Hornet model so I had to remove those slots.
  7. Snake Plissken......I heard you were dead!
  8. USMC helo ops exercises off the coast of Lebanon 1990s.....
  9. WW2 AAA?

Are there some AA machine gun packs in the FE downloads that would be useful?
  10. Nimitz underway with RH-53s aboard. Wonder where she's headed?
  11. USMC UH-1Ns on an armed recon over Iceland And somewhere a bit warmer
  12. Spudknocker, have a look at this topic http://combatace.com/topic/67951-georgia-on-my-mind/?hl=baltika It might be the terrain you need for your Dark Gene campaign. I don't know if Baltika is still active, or if you could take over the project if he still has the files, but the terrain has a lot of potential for various scenarios.
  13. If WTR is now not going to be released, what happened to the CH-3 that Jarek was working on?
  14. I remember once TK posted that he would love to do a Sci Fi version of Strike Fighters (SF:SF?) and then users could make their own models. Think of the possibilities - we could have Vipers vs Tie Fighters, Angel Interceptors vs Babylon 5's Starfuries or even Spaceball One vs a Borg Cube! Sadly it came to nothing for the PC, although TK did get to make his Sci Fi game as Star Vector for mobiles.
  15. There might be something useful in here: http://combatace.com/files/file/15465-strike-fighters-2-crisis-in-the-med/
  16. Stratos I know you're concentrating on Syria, but could you maybe make Gaza and the West Bank enemy territories and include some targets for Israeli jets or gunships to hit? I'm thinking headquarters or comms buildings, artillery or katyusha sites, an airport and port facilities if possible. Then we could recreate some of the recent missions/campaigns and explore future scenarios. Thanks.
  17. Anafa and Tzefa heading north on border patrol...
  18. Marine Air, late 1970s, flying the flag over Guantanamo Bay.
  19. Going Rogue

Now THAT'S how you make a Star Wars prequel!
  20. But then you don't get USMC Harriers and helicopters operating from the assault ships. Unless you made a second USMC nation, maybe called USMC-H, that was CarrierBased=TRUE and assigned those aircraft to that nation?
  21. http://combatace.com/files/file/14850-f-35ab-lightning-ii-international-operators-skin-pack/
  22. I did something similar. I put together a big install with Iraqi, Iranian and western planes and objects and had 4 terrains: IranIraq for the Iran Iraq war 1980-88 ODS for Desert Shield and Desert Storm Persian Gulf and IR2003 for western ops against Iran in the 1980's and post-ODS eras respectively, including Operation Darius. Now Wrench is going to jump in and tell me I could have done it all on one terrain!
  23. The first soviet aircraft to reach the beachhead is an Mi-8, but he's soon spotted by an AV-8B and won't last long However, he's done his job and pinpointed the location of the USMC landing force for the follow on flight of Hinds... The Harriers wheel around to engage this new threat The Harriers head for home to refuel and rearm And the invasion and the Battle for Iceland is only just getting started...
