  1. Me too. 4 missiles under the belly + 4 Amraams + 2 Sidewinders = 10 missiles Finally, something to compete with the SU-27!
  2. Is there a blank SEA skin available for Del's C-130H or E models? As well as the obvious USAF use for Vietnam & Europe etc it ould be a great base skin for Greece, Turkey and many other airforces that use SEA painted Hercules'.
  3. List of 767 operators: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Boeing_767_operators
  4. So bad it's good! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P08B_lBUL0E Available for Proms, Graduations, Weddings and Barmitzvahs!
  5. Have you run a patch that has updated the stock A-6A.ini back to the default entries?
  6. The first download is the full aircraft and I think it actually includes the skins in the other downloads I listed. It probably needs a bit of work to update it to SF2 standards.
  7. There's an AMI skin included in the Typhoon download. Don't know if there are any others available. For the Italian F-16 you need to look in the Gen 1 downloads: http://combatace.com/files/file/5018-f-16a-adf-aeronautica-militare/ http://combatace.com/files/file/7545-90th-anniversary-special-f-16-italian-air-force/ http://combatace.com/files/file/4465-f-16a-adf-23-gruppo/ http://combatace.com/files/file/4463-f-16a-adf-18-gruppo/ http://combatace.com/files/file/4462-f-16a-adf-10-gruppo/
  8. I put Ansons Greece terrain into my SF2: Anatolia install (based on a full merged SF2 install). It loads fine but there are no runways, no limited nations.ini (flying against soviet MiGs when I was hoping for Turkish opposition!), and the targets, front line etc seemed to be pretty screwed up. I flew for Greece and the game gave me a mission flying out of Israel against a target in Egypt. There were Red bases in Greece and points north as well as in Egypt. I then flew for Turkey and was given a mission flying out of Egypt against a target in Egypt! Again, the Red and Blue bases were nowhere near where they are supposed to be. It's a shame as the terrain would be useful for WW2, Cold War, WW3 and modern anti terror missions, although it does duplicate some of the other terrains already available. Still if anyone does get around to updating it I'll download and fly in it with thanks!
  9. Damaged F-14s

What happened with the A-6? Accidental firing of the B/N's ejection seat?
  10. Has the Freedom Fighter been updated for SF2 yet as I can't find it in the downloads section. I need it for my SF2:Anatolia install, but can use the SF1 version and add any needed skins from the SF2 section instead. Edit: Never mind, looks like there are Greek & Turkish nationalised versions in the SF1 downloads too, so I'm sorted.
  11. US Carrier Sold For One Cent

We should have bought it and renamed it the USS Combatace. We could have liberated some carrier jets from the Boneyard and set ourselves up as mercenaries for hire and live the Strike Fighters dream for real! Just think of the possibilities..... Unlimited flight time and air combat Getting orders from shady CIA case officers, self-destructing tapes or damsels in distress who's aged father is being strong armed by the local hoods A girl in every port A theme tune by Mike Post A new adventure every week!
  12. Looks great! Any chance of adding RAF Sutton Craddock for a certain Mosquito squadron to use? The base is fictional but was supposedly in Yorkshire where there is actually a Full Sutton airfield today..... http://www.fullsuttonairfield.com/location.html https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=sutton+craddock+airfield&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&gws_rd=cr&ei=NYdpUueMH8SV0AX9-IGYAg
  13. Tom Clancy Dies at Age 66

Like many of you guys Red storm Rising is my favourite of TC's books and probably my favourite book period. When I first read it during the summer holidays as an 18 year old in 1987 I felt it was the ultimate military fiction book and the one I wanted to have written! Needless to say it's one of the most battered books on my bookshelf, despite having electronic copies too these days. I think the quality dipped, for me, after Executive Orders and Rainbow Six , although don't get me wrong even most of the later books are still head and shoulders above a lot of the stuff out there. The movies were great, and Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon are my favourite games, after TK's of course. Threat Vector just came out in paperback and I was waiting to finish some other books I've got queued up to read before I bought it. I think I'll get it this weekend as a tribute to the man himself. For tonight, I think I'll take up an F-19 in SF2:E to re-enact Operation Dreamland and hunt me down some Mainstays, and then have a go at taking down some vampires in an F-14A in SF2:NA. RIP sir and thanks for everything.
  14. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-23952207 A real life hero: WW2 Wellington bomber pilot Made his own speedboat and aircraft Invented and flew Little Nellie in You Only Live Twice RIP
  15. This might help: http://combatace.com/files/file/12804-water-maps-102zip/
  16. I'm sure there's a map in the book showing the route of the flight and the location of the target. I'll dig out my old copy over the weekend and see if I can scan it.
  17. There are some SF1 versions: http://combatace.com/files/file/7247-china-ww2-upgrade-pak/ http://combatace.com/files/file/7155-ww2-burma-by-edward/ http://combatace.com/files/file/7153-ww2-china-by-edward/ http://combatace.com/files/file/7041-burma-ww2-terrain-hot-fix/ http://combatace.com/files/file/7034-burma-ww2-targets-upgrade-pak/ I would guess that these are on Wrench's to-do list to upgrade to SF2 standard.
  18. Looks good so far Kevin. Strike Fighters 2: North Pacific?
  19. Wasn't Montycz doing something like this a while back? Maybe pm him to see what resources he's got?
  20. F/A 18H
