  1. Are you starting the mission from your own runway or are you starting in the air over the target yourself?
  2. I'd like to use the Desert Storm terrain for some post-1991 scenarios like Desert Fox, Southern Watch and ultimately OIF. How do I change the front line to the Kuwait/Iraq border so Kuwait is now friendly territory and what else would need to be done to update the terrain for this use? Ultimately I'm aiming to have a SF2 Persian Gulf install containing all the objects, terrains, campaigns etc to be able to fly Iran/Iraq, Desert Storm, and Operation Darius from the available mods, plus the post-1991 Iraq scenarios above, and also Gepard's Persian Gulf terrain so I can fly some 1980s scenarios like Operation Praying Mantis and some fictional US vs Iran action like The Warbirds and Sword Point and of course recreate my lost youth flying F-19 missions against the SAM sites at Bushehr!
  3. I know about IR2003 and its one of my favourite terrains, but what would I need to do to make Iraq enemy territory and Iran neutral territory for the period 1991 to 2003?
  4. Awesome work! Can't wait. Wouldn't the Israeli version be 2000BJ like the Mirage IIICJ? The Japanese version could be 2000BN (Nippon).
  5. Jap Zeros over California? Where's Wild Bill Kelso when you need him!
  6. Is that a re-paint for a TV show or movie as a faux Battle of Britain bird maybe?
  7. Oh well, if you ever feel the urge to re-create it I, for one, will download it! It would be useful for SF2:NA, Falklands, ODS, Iraq post 2003, Afghanistan and I'm sure plenty of other terrains.
  8. Thanks Kevin. No doubt you'll upgrade to NA standard so we can use naval search, naval strike etc. I wonder if Veltro still has the files for the MR.2?
  9. Sorry to resurrect a two year old thread, but I was wondering if the Nimrod is in a WIP pipeline somewhere? The original MR.1 seems to have been pulled and not (yet) re-uploaded.
  10. Something like this? http://www.duffelblog.com/2013/02/top-drone-pilots-battle-at-elite-training-school/ http://www.duffelblog.com/2013/02/air-force-releases-top-drone-recruiting-film-video/
  11. Didn't they already make a movie of this? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0382992/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stealth_%28film%29 Although EDI looks more like an F-19 than a minature B-2.
  12. I'm running a fully merged SF2:I install and have a nation specific Israeli E-2C so how come it never shows up on single missions? Do I need to enable the naval map on the IsraelME terrain? Also how do I get other aircraft to operate as an AWACS? Do I just need to give them the same roles as the Hawkeye? I'm thinking of an Iranian F-14 operating in an AEW role in Operation Darius or IranIraq, or maybe enabling Veltro2k's Soviet AWACS birds and his Japanese 767 too.
  13. Would love to see this stuff. The 'new' EAW terrain gave me an excuse to set up an SF2 WW2 ETO install and delete my SF1 version so the more SF2 compliant stuff available the better! BTW does anyone have any SF2 screens suitable for a WW2 ETO install?
  14. Thanks very much! Veltro also did a Il-78 Midas tanker and a Tu-22 Backfire not sure if it's a version already included as stock in SF2:NA. Are you looking to re-release those too?
  15. We have the post-war R09 and there is also the Invincible class version. http://combatace.com/files/file/13758-sf2na-ultimate-carriers-pack/ AFAIK the WW2 version isn't available.
  16. I think it was one of Veltro2K's that was removed in The Purge. Wrench is re-uploading Veltro's stuff so hopefully this is on his list. (I'm looking to seeing the Soviet heavies and the civilian airliners again...hint, hint )
  17. Do you reckon that these are the models from TK's USAF recruitment game updated for the new platforms?
  18. Falklands 2

There were a couple of higher profile novels covering a second Falklands war that I know of: Exclusion Zone by John Nichols - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Exclusion-Zone-Nichol-John/dp/034071879X/ref=tmm_pap_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1366982131&sr=1-5 Land of Fire by Chris Ryan - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Land-Fire-Chris-Ryan/dp/0099432382 I've not read them so don't know how good they are, but there's no questioning the two authors' experience. I found this what-if article on the MailOnline website - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2077813/Falkland-Islands-Prince-Harry-captured-600-soldiers-killed--imagined-Dominic-Sandbrook.html A very funny potted history history of the real Falklands war written as if reviewing an implausible alternative history technothriller - http://www.changingthetimes.net/samples/brooks/review_of_the_alternate_history.htm And talking of SF2 scenarios, how about this alternative history of the original Falklands war where we Brits lose. The detailed descriptions of the air/sea battles of 10th May 1982 are crying out for some custom missions. - http://www.changingthetimes.net/samples/coldwar/falklands_war_1982.htm
  19. Explosion at the Finish Line of Boston Marathon

Watching it on BBC News & Sky News now. If it is a terrorist attack it looks like they were timed to catch the bulk of the runners rather than the first few finishers.
  20. Nimitz vs Ulyanovsk (or Kuznetsov if we ever see one)? Tomcats & Hornets vs Soviet Navy Flankers & Fulcrums, Intruders vs Soviet Navy Frogfoots, and wasn't there a Soviet Navy Hawkeye copycat in WIP somewhere?
  21. With things potentially kicking off in Korea again I thought I'd add some more modern types to my SF2:Korea install. We seem to have Osan based F-16 skins but nothing for the Kunsan based birds with the famous WP tailcodes (8th TFW - 35th TFS & 80th TFS), or am I missing something in the downloads? Come to think of it I don't think I have any 25th TFS A-10s with OS tailcodes either.
  22. Do you have the links please?
