  12. Paul Newman Dead

    One of the best.
  13. Great stuff lindr2! Any chance of the 9M114 Shturm (AT-6 Spiral) for the Mi-24 at some point?
  14. Plus the Mustang, Meteor & C-47 open the possibility of a WW2 sim in the future...
  15. True, but wouldn't guns be useful for strafing ground targets?
  16. I remember buying that kit years ago. I think I painted mine in MiG-23 type green/brown/sand camo. Unfortunately it was a victim to moving house about 10 years ago! It would be nice to re-visit it in SF\WOx though, and would make a nice companion to the F-19 we already have.
  17. Did the Vals dive bomb the ships or just level bomb?
  18. n00b threat posture

Very funny! Now, how do you add skins again? Oh, and it's got to be for a SUPER SEXY STEALTH FIGHTER BECAUSE ALL OF THOSE OLD PLANES ARE JUST SO BORING AND I ONLY WANT TO FLY THE SUPER SEXY ONES LIKE ON THAT ACE COMBAT GAME AND NOT THE BORING OLD PLANES FROM LIKE THE 60S AND 70S EXCEPT FOR THAT F-14 TOP GUN PLANE BECAUSE I REALLLY LIKE THAT ONE. AND HOW DO YOU ADD PLANES? AND HOW DO YOU ADD WEAPONS?. I need to lie down, I'm getting a headache...

  20. I think some of the very earliest F-16 add on aircraft may have included a Norwegian skin, but I could be wrong and don't have my homecomputer to hand.
  21. Got some He-111s out already and more in the works. (Ostfront, but also more ETO and MTO skins too). Also, I've been having a play with the Ju-52 and Hs-123, so who knows? They'll have to wait for my home computer to come back from repairs though.
  22. Yay! We're going to need some Eastern Front 109 skins.
  23. An update on this story from the BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/7599398.stm The suspected remains of a WWII airman discovered in a jungle region of Papua New Guinea have turned out to be the moss-covered branches of a tree. The Australian military sent a team to investigate the "body" only to discover it was a branch tangled in vines. An Australian Defence Force (ADF) statement said that although the location of the find was below a flight path commonly used by Allied aircraft during WWII sorties, the "remains" were in fact a moss-covered branch. The ADF said that no remains had been found. "It appears the branch has broken off the main tree and fallen across some vines, which from the ground, could have been confused with the body of an airman," the ADF statement continued. Hundreds of Australians lost their lives fighting off a Japanese invasion of Papua New Guinea. Japanese losses were several times heavier. The hillsides around the Kokoda Trail are littered with rusting guns, grenades and mortars - reminders of the WWII battles fought there. I don't know whether to be happy or sad at this turn of events.
  24. That looks great! And I can re-ennact some North Cape style F-19 missions from my long lost youth too.
