If I may make another suggestion: On the "old" CA site we had under "Last Discussions" not the last new topics, we had the last topics with new entries - something I really loved (you didn't always have to browse along all subforums - that's why I have no idea what happened over the last week in this forum - just hadn't the nerve and time to do that...). So, please (with a cherry on top), is it possible to get that back?

I hate automatic - always searching for the gearstick and stepping on the break (thinking it's the clutch) - horrible! And I don't like the car deciding when to shift... BTW. Am I the only one thinking "KITT" looking at the pictures?

Months ago I started an experimental conversion for SF1 - I used most of the AC skins here on CA, and started to fiddle with nations, weapons and planes... ...but at the moment all my projects are on hold (somehow I can't motivate myself, my only active project is learning OpenGl - damn eco-crisis!). Oh, one problem i could't solve were the "respawning" missles - I tried to use rockedpods (with a sidewinder's lod ), but it is not possible to create a delay between the shots (you can fire as fast as you can pull the trigger), and the AI can't use it... The only plus is, you can fire at air and ground targets. Would be nice if it would be possible to use scripts! Maybe I try to "wake" the project this weekend (no guarantee!)...

AAA is a fanmade addon, which "unlocks" additional planes (previous AI only) by adding a 'pit and I think it even adds own planes... You can find it here: http://www.allaircraftarcade.com/forum/index.php

As far as I know the .lst files are simple text files - and the entries in the file shouldn't matter, as long as the number (of entries) is correct. I even have text in some of mine - it is just what you see in the drop-down to select your plane's number...

Do you have the tail numbers in the correct directory (the SF2 series has a dedicated "decal" directory, they are not longer in the skin folder...)?

That's what I'm thinking for years - what is with this "race" crap - and why is there a "race" entry in US documents??? I don't know how it is in other european countries, but we don't have such entires... (Sadly people are still categorized by their heritage, like Turkish or Russian - but not in any official document, except they are still citizens of that countries...)

That's exactly why I asked some time ago if anyone new something about the lod structure. If anyone can provide me with knowledge about the lod's specifications I will even learn to texture in OpenGl... (I always wanted to create a "lod Previewer" for skinning!)
