Hi Florian!
I've just seen the magnificent work yo have done with FH schleswig , as you may know I'm working on this terrain:

And I was wondering if you could share with me this air base with the aim of using them in my terrain , as I do with Büchel, Cottbus and other bases you did for Rend's GermanyCE rework.

FRPignon, did you flatten airbases with TW's TerrainEditor function? Such oddities are caused by it. That's why I resorted to use gerwin's mighty TFDtool for almost everything; with it you can tweak the heights of single tiles, and you can create small, simple flat tiles unlike TW's big circular ones.
Gerwin's TFD tool is excelent for playing with the TFD file but If you want to play with the heightmap it is , I wouldn't say useless, but almost. Taking into account the way I'm use to work. If you want to modify a heightmap for me the best alternatives are TK's terrain editor and of course, photoshop or GIMP with a 8 bit .bmp file representing the heightmap.

Well, I agree, but without the smooth height field option, I would have never been able to get an easy and/or fast solution to this kind of "oddities":

Sorry but high rez is not only a high rez texture....
Skin should have also accurate stencils, weathering etc...
Just my 2 cents...

How does the import Tile Map from bitmap works in TK's terrain editor? I'm curious, since importing the heightmap as bitmap has been very usefull in this case?

Hi guys
I'm chaging the heightmap of my EAW terrain. However, I'ma having some trouble in mountainous areas due to the palette I'm using, which, mistakenly uses the same color for regions above 3225 meters, that means that everything is nice, except regions taller than 3225 meters, which are therefore flat.
So If any of you could share with me an .ACT file with the palette , will help me a lot.

Are you sure the yap method would work in Sf2 sims?
This was discussed years ago with the result, that the Gen1 method would not work in SF2 sims...
but would be cool if...
It works. I could made a quick tutorial if you want.

The cockpit is a rough BETA conversion of a Mirage III cockpit.
It doesnt represent a complete Mirage IV cockpit.Specificities :

The counter shows TOTAL available fuel inclusive the drop tank fuelThe fuel transfer lights:
They are all off with full internal + external tanks.
If the external tanks (droptanks) are empty or dropped = wingtank lights are on
The internal lights are on after the respective tanks are empty.Internal tank sequence is tailfin+rear fuselage tank, then the internal wing tanks, then the central fuselage tanks.
These tank groups are all indicated by the respective fuel transfer lights (lights are on if tank is empty).
With all lights on, 1400 kg fuel in the two feeder tanks (located on the fuselage sides along the intake ducts) remain.

I think you have a mess between texture and decal .inis , campaign .inis etc. My advice? Install everything again, step by step and slowly.
