Pleased to report that the Buttkicker Gamer works beautifully in First Eagles. For a small outlay of cash (mine was about $150 Australian) it transforms your computer into a sort of force feedback joystick. Vibrates and rattles according to the bass output of the game. You can feel the beat of the engines and taking hits from EA is unbelievably realistic. Heavy bombers are especially fun with those huge unsychronised engines.

So, why is First Eagles the best WWI sim? (I am curious to know what people think of this sim in comparison to OFF or some of the other WWI offerings).

Maybe I am getting mixed up with CFS2 Combat Aces but I seem to recall seeing crosshair sights in FE before the new November patch. If so (or not) does anyone know how to get them a la CFS2 please.

Ansaldo SVA5 and maybe an Austrian opponent. With alpine scenery that would be good.
