i'm stuttering like a bitch on the 2nd mission ; but should have 512MB more RAM arriving on monday :) ground has a kill ratio of 1:0 and its killing me everytime i fly this mission.. happily flying along when system freezes for 3-5 seconds (long enough for me to fly into the side of a hill/ground without knowing it.. but then its my fault for setting all the textures etc to max (appart from water which is on low).. but 1024MB of RAM should do the trick ;) oh and they didn't fix that fuel from the wing problem.. :( but hey nothing can't live with till its patched :)

apparently the body of the F-15 provides enough lift to keep the aircraft flying with just the 1 wing :)

so far i've made a high res vector file of the tail badge - and 1 of the flying tigers badge on the side of the hog.. i've rastered these in PS and scaled them to fit the tail and side.. rivits and pannels are next - then redoing the colour and adding weather beaten effect :) oh and fixing the sharks teeth :)

now using the cdds browser from check-six :) found the 23rd FG skin and am now slowly editing the files :)

there are already no-cd cracks out - saw 1 posted over @ simhq.. i personally take a copy of games i play alot with Alcohol 120% saves the CD's and loads a hell of a lot quicker :)

as u have 1024MB of RAM i'd reccomend 2048MB as max/min Pagefile :)

ok snag i've gone through the skin and from what i can see u can only edit the outer tail and each side of the body you can't edit the wings etc.. :( any1 got a solution? little more WiP..

expecting the bound manual on monday :) should b a gr8 read with the extra pages and the huge map u get of the area :D well worth the money tbh :)

The error returned was: Sorry, you do not have permission to start a topic in this forum i wanted to start a topic about skinning the hog.. i made a start on a high res version 2048x2048px skin for the hog instead of the 512x512px u get with the demo, and apparently the full game anyway i've started working on the tail first (working my way forward) heres a work in progress shot :) i'll set my res higher for just taking pics of the skin in future.. 1024 cropped pic doesn't do it justice :)

for the demo i use 2x AA and 4x ansio on DX with my R9700pro, runs gr8 @ 1024 :)

u'll prolly get a 9700pro on ebay for the same price ;)

ok now that its out and it doesnt need fraps to record, lets see some new vids guys - or just post the mission demo file :)

over 1000' AGL.. not good - try and keep it below 500 for a pop up mav attack :)

u dont need fraps - LOMAC comes with built in video maker :)
